😱Workin' early!

Dany DLTV

Call animal control for the BAT, there is a very very small chance it has rabies. Only 6% of them have it but it's a non-zero chance. It's very very rare only 1 or 2 people per year in the US get rabies and almost all of them are bat-related. If anybody gets bitten seek treatment immediately. Otherwise is almost always fatal without treatment. Stay safe. Here the CDC contact on rabies https://www.cdc.gov/rabies/resources/contacts.html https://www.cdc.gov/rabies/bats/contact/home.html

Okay. Yeah it got out of the fireplace and I think my cat may have hit it or something cuz it was just laying there limp. It’s not dead so we put it in a box, taped it up with some hole for air and left it in the garage. I have to take both cats to the vet tomorrow. They have their rabies shot but just in case I’ll probably have to get their rabies booster shots.

I hate Gabi as much as you do to be honest. I don't care if she's just a child and brainwashed. Falco went through the same training and education but he never showed any bigoted world views as Gabi. When Eren asked Reiner about the reason his mother got eaten Falco didn't intervene and say because Eren's ancestors killed a bunch of people. It's not about their background it's about their character. Killing Sasha was fair game since she was a soldier who attacked her hometown but I hate her for having such a limited and radical view on the people on the island.

About that. Falco was raised by the Grice family, they worked with Grisha Jaeger and was a part of the Eldia restorationist. Colt and Falco was raised normally and hearing Reiner and Eren's talk widened his perspective. Meanwhile, Gabi and Reiner were raised and brainwashed by their parents who truly believed Eldia are devils. Not to mention Gabi is a carbon footprint of Eren Jaeger, she didn't say anything Eren wouldn't in season 1-2, sure Eren listened but all he thought about it was how to slowly torture them to death..

I think the reason why people hate Gabi and not Eren is because of knowledge. When Eren was throwing tantrums like an ignorant kid, we were as ignorant as he was about the world. But now we know so much and our perspectives are much wider, we can't stand watching people like Gabi having such a narrow mind.

In regards to the Rumbling, it's to my knowledge that it's not a one-and-done thing. From what we know so far the founding titan should be able to control and create titans at will, meaning they can use the rumbling as many times as they please if they are able to wield the founding titan.

Who are all these Gabi sympathizers you speak of? Lol. I hate Gabi too. But I am starting to realize one thing: the writer(s) are doing a real good job of making us hate her, like they're going overboard with it. I think that's for a reason, idk what that reason is yet, but it's def intentional. I'm starting to change my theories as the show goes on... like, what if Gabi has this huge change of heart later in the show during some pivotal moment and surprises us all? Idk. Then you would get your chance to say: I told ya bitch!!!😂 Thank God for Falco though, man I'm really starting to like him. I also love how they're not letting Sasha's memory go. Even after her death, the things she did, people she influenced while she was alive...it's like she really made a difference and they're not letting us forget what a loss her death really was. And congrats on your new pet bat 🦇.

^This. We were meant to sympathize and root for Eren back then just as we're meant to hate Gabi right now. It's written that way on purpose. Sure it's making us deliberate perspectives and to try to liken Gabi to Eren and try to put ourselves in Gabi's shoes/mind, but the show is still making us want to hate Gabi for a reason. I'm looking forward to what that reason is. Knowing AoT, there's gotta be more to it than a final season just showing us how history repeats itself.

"Who are all these Gabi sympathizers you speak of?" - You rang?

Try think about it on Gabi’s point of view though. The same way we feel about the discrimination against Eldians can be applied to Gabi as well. What did Gabi do to deserve getting locked inside a little internment zone; growing up getting spit on simply because she was born an eldian, forced to become a child soldier just to survive? All that anger and frustration she has is being used and directed back to people who are just like her. That said I find Gabi extremely irritating but I can’t say any of this is the fault of a 12 year old

Sasha 😭😭😭😭

ATTENTION EVERYONE: I just discovered a insanely detail oriented parallel/easter egg if you pause at 16:10 for BOTH this episode, and episode 6 of season 1 and then look at it together.

Diego Zenhäusern

One can certainly see the parallels xD Howyou managed to notice that is a mystery to me though😂

Personally I don't find Gabi annoying. I find her pitiable, broken, and just a sad example of cyclical hatred and violence. Iyasama is literally making a story commenting on racism and colonialism and who if anyone is responsible for the aftermath of what their ancestors have done. Edit: Okay, she is kind of annoying, not gonna lie. But I still think what I said after that. Edit 2: Like, even the community fandom hate for Gabi is at this point a meta commentary on cyclical violence that doesn't stop until someone just fucking stops. Sasha was a beloved character sure, she brought levity and laughs in a totally fucked up story. But she still participated in the liberio raid, as a soldier. She knew what she was doing and as a soldier she knew she could die in the attack. Bottom line, Iyasama is a good writer (except for the prison break lol) and he says fuck your racism, move on.

Hats off to you sir that was well said. At the end of the day, Isayama wrote a masterpiece tackling the dark nature of politics, war, and various social problems like racism, militarism, colonialism, etc what makes it genius is that this man planned the twist of story theme from the very beginning, is this even the same story where humans are fighting against giant mindless man eating monsters from seasoning 1?

Kevin Baker

The person running the orphanage is Sasha's dad, too.

Gabi's dealing with the juxtaposition of her feelings of anger and powerlessness (think of Mikasa's jail cell conversation). Gabi has also always felt like she had (active) to do something, it's only recently that Falco has felt like he should (passive) do something; that there is the difference in their respective driving motivations and, I think, their reactions to being on the island and to the islanders. The attack also only exaggerated and confirmed Gabi's preconceived notions and learned bigotry of the 'island devils'.

Christopher Rivera

True. Gabi is a girl who takes action, Falco is contemplative, uses his head to think the situation through, slower to react, less hasty to judge. Gabi has a better mentality for a soldier in war and Falco’s is more suited to peace talks and diplomatic foreign policy. Both are necessary at different times. The native Americans were conquered by Europeans taking advantage of their openness. The Greeks were conquered by the Romans developing friendly ties through trade with some Greek city states (who under Roman rule were still never treated as equals). “No good deed goes unpunished” is partially true and part of the reason that people like Gabi exist and must exist; many can’t be effective without the simplistic binaries of good versus evil. A grey morality is complex, a double edged sword that can get you cut when you hesitate. A few years ago an American mission suffered casualties in the Middle East because after killing the terrorists, the men, they refrained from shooting the women who turned out to be armed. Human nature is variable because there are situations where any virtue can be a weakness, and a vice can be expedient.

Diego Zenhäusern

Oh, thanks for mentioning that, I wouldn't have noticed it. My memory for faces is really shitty🙈😅
