Yoki's main character arc happened in the original show. They skipped over it in brotherhood since it isn't really relevant, but I think they talk about it briefly in here. All you need to know is he used to be corrupt military ruling over a mining town. Ed and Al took him down and he was discharged from the military.

Honestly it did annoy me when you talked shit about Winry and the whole charging thing you would too probably if it cost $$$ to get all the parts and shit also having no other work for those days you're spending on it and honestly it kind of a joke imo but that's beside the point because you're entitled to your opinion but I do think you'll hopefully learn to love her soon

It seems like each Homunculus has their own ability, for example, Lust has big boobs...I mean, the long extent fingers thing, and Envy can shapeshift, etc...As for Winry, you have a fair point on the charging money thing. But it is really just a comic relief that didn't land well with you. Winry doesn't care about the money, really. Plus, someone has to pay the bills at the end of the day. Ed breaks it, Ed pays for it, seems fair? And it's not like Ed is poor, and Winry is squeezing every penny out of him (this would annoy me too!) But Ed is making tons of money as a State Alchemist (I think this was implied in the early episodes when Ed wrote a check or something).

Well, I think her charging money in general makes perfect sense, and doing it for free would be kinda dump. I mean I'd agree that she could give him some sort of friendship discount, but I think, that really is all you could expect from her since: 1. The materials and everything probably are really expensive. 2. It takes a lot of time to put it all together. 3. Ed obviously earns a lot of money, so he really can afford to pay her properly. That said, I really didn't like that moment either, because she looks really greedy in that scene. I mean, she was totally ready to do it for free until she noticed Ed didn't know she fucked up and then she suddendly even charged extra. So even though I really like Winry, I totally agree with Lex that that scene really makes her look shitty.
