Feel free to correct me but, Ed didn't find Al's soul, as it was never lost. Truth only took Al's entire body and Al's soul is just there waiting for Ed to bind it in the suit of armor. While their mom who already passed away doesn't have a soul in this world anymore.

Edward Elric is easily my favourite shounen protagonist of all time. Other characters especially recent years are too bland or goodie two shoe.

I believe creating life is the main thing that counts as human transmutation. Also considering that Ed has literally met Truth( which is basically god) I’m pretty him believing in a soul isn’t too far fetched.

I think with how Ed and Al stressed that the dead cannot be brought back no matter what, they probably just want their bodies back with a stone, not their mother.

When showing the sins they've also zoomed in multiple time to a weird symbol on their bodies. Seems to be on the tongue for Gluttony and on the breast for Lust

That was really cute of your principal by the way :) But if life expenses get in the way, that's just how it is, we wouldn't want you to get by on nothing but water and bread just to avoid a few laggs & Death Note is a complex show, you're really blowing the things you miss out of proportion; good to know Chris is supporting you with this, hope it helps a bit! If you could believe in a soul if you're thinking only scientifically, it depends on the world you live in I think; in the FMAB-world, they clearly can use their will & knowledge to make reactions happen simply by drawing a circle on the floor, & putting your hands on it and BAM, the reaction happens, so depending on the theories they use to explain it it wouldn't be out of the question to believe in a "soul", depending on how you define it...maybe not in some religious way with paradise, divine judgement etc. but instead the compiled electricity / energy pattern that makes up your personality & memories, just how I see it what a cute little sleepyhead ❤️ must be tireing for the little guy, with all the new stuff & places he got to see

at the beginning he was too prideful & thougth he could do anything with his brother; after their failure he learned some humility, but also became traumatized & cynical, at least how I interpret his comments on how cheap humans actually are

I think that’s up for interpretation so far. But judging from what Ed said before Truth towed him for opening the gate, he’s not entirely convinced it’s not possible, he just thinks the price is too high

I love your reacting to this, FMAB is one of my all time favorite anime going back to the early 2000s when I watched "the original." While I can't speak for anyone one else, I for one would love watching a video about the littlest, bestest, tiredest, good boy.
