One thing I can't get enough of is that OPENING! Can't stop watching it, man they really nailed it! The part where Subaru keeps on running and dying over again, really gave me goosebumps. 😲

Subaru is such a dumbass. Why did he take the crystal that he knew was for Emilia so SHE could pass through the barrier. He just F'ed up everything. At least my boy Otto looks like he's going to have a role to play👍

I don't think the reason Otto wants to get close to Roswaal is meant to be a mystery. Otto is a merchant and Roswaal is a wealthy land owner. Otto's motive is money. It's made clearer in the books where there are extra lines of dialogue and you get more of Subaru's thoughts. But it was never a secret.
