It is not the best anime the manga it basted off of is amazing so the plot of the anime is amazing but I failed in to fully live up to the manga but it is a good watch ether way

I’m cool with either like personally I’m hyped for ngnl and the continuation of the other anime’s you’re reacting to so completely up to u it’s definitely a good anime mainstream for a reason

Personally I would say just watch it on your own. The manga is great but the anime was a let down.

Watch it on your own. Like you said you have to make time for your friends. I'd rather see the time reviewing spent on a Anime classic like Death Note.

Would love to see a reaction to it, not many people do reactions of this. I think you should react to the first 2 seasons, not just one. The first season is really good, but it after that the anime gets a bit confusing because its not really like the manga but I still liked all of the seasons. I think you should react to season 2 aswell, its got dope fights and sad moments

The 1st season is dope to me. And I think the last two are worth watching, and at the very least if you don't wanna react to the last two seasons I still think you should finish them.

I really like Tokyo Ghoul, so if you want to watch it, I'd love to tag along^^ Some people say it pales in comparison to the manga. I'm an anime-only fan, I don't read mangas, so can't comment on that, but I think "is this anime good ON ITS OWN" is a completely different question than "is this anime good COMPARED TO THE MANGA" and I'd definitely say: on it's own, it's well worth watching. On a side note: I think I remember you some time ago saying/posting that you had watched a handfull of episodes already, why did you stop? Just got distracted by something else? Because I'd say the first half-a-dozen episodes give you a pretty clear picture of what to expect going onward.

Personally I think the only season you should react to is there first. As the second season differentiates hard from the manga sorry wise, then station three starts where the manga left of. B so you will be left with tons of never answered questions in s3. And season 4 just rushes through the manga and leaves many things out. The first season is awesome and I would love to see your react to it. But after ep1 of s2 you will know if you want to continue with Tokyo ghoul as an anime, or if you want to switch to the manga. Again, personally I recommend to switch to the manga after season one, or at least give it a shot after s2ep1, so you can see which story choice you like more going forward.

Manga is 100 times better but if you want to watch the anime, go ahead. I’ll tag along. I never really finished watching it anyways

Please read the manga. You can honestly just ignore the anime. In fact, I think it’s better if you do just that. Regardless of whether you put up reactions to you reading the manga or not which I doubt you’d do, I strongly recommend reading the manga of Tokyo Ghoul in your own time. It’s just downright breath taking in writing and art.
