An attempt at painting.

Also, I think I screwed up using Gnarlington in the Intent of Form comic.  I'm going to redo some pages and replace him with someone else.

Screwed up how? I admit, I've never paid too close attention to his 'character.'

Oh wow, she looks great! Definitely keep up with painting. How did you feel about it? Also interested in the replacement character for IoF, and now we've got some limited edition Gnarlington copies ^_^

Trivialconquest

Maybe he dislikes he wrote himself into a corner by making her partner a stump that only moves off-screen. Personally, I don't think he could take getting the axe a second time!

Stelard Actek

I love this! And yeah, I like Gnarlington as a joke but I don't think he'd work in IoF if you want to do anything halfway serious with it.

Fake Name

Yay! Gnarlington was mildly amusing the first comic, but after that it's just felt forced and unfunny. It put me of IoF to have it shoehorned into the storyline.

Kenneth

Gnarlington works best as a single page joke mascot. Doesn't offer much in the way of meaningful substance to a story even as a plot device. So personally, glad to hear you are looking to do a substitution. Perhaps a faceless gynoid detective that talks via binary would be an option?

Jagnir

"An attempt" he says, as he turns out beauty..

This looks incredible.

ProfessorGoggles

Do you see what you've done, people? With your cruel barbs and jabs? You've driven Gnarlington away! Oh wait that's impossible, he doesn't have legs.

I'm getting the feeling that Gnarlington should just be used in cameos, like Alfred Hitchcock.... Lovely painting, by the way.

NackV

Finally got a chance to get a closer look at this. I really dig it.

As for Gnarlington, yea, I mean, it's really something that should crop up every like 5 pages or something, but it's your choice.

A use for that robocop girl from the sketches, perhaps? The one that is apparently irresponsible and parties all the time? Gives our heroine something new to be pissed about.

I think Gnarlington couold be boss of that replacement character. He works really good in short cameos, but I agree that he wouldn't work as action-character for longer series.
