Who is Having The "New Installer" Error? (Patreon)

1- Just to clear things out; Update your game to the lastest version!! I have to use the most updated version of the game and I can't support older versions. There is a work-around to this in the end of this post though.

2 - Even if you remember having installed the new version of the patcher and installer for 1.18, please download it again! The game updated to 1.18 and the patcher/installer updated a while ago BUT it had a crucial bug and had to be updated very soon after, so some people might actually have downloaded the installer on the same day but still can have an older version of the installer!!

3 - Everyone will probably already know this, but if for some reason you're new to modding and the first contact with xenoverse mods is my page then please go to:

You can download the patcher and the installer here! Just to remember to have your game updated to 1.18, Older versions are not supported by eternity.

4 - If, after all of this you're still getting the error, please comment full details of the situation, such as which error message exactly you're getting, your game version, if you reinstalled your mods and etc.

5 - WORKAROUND: every x2m can be actually open using WinRar or another similar program! Inside the x2m file you will find a file called "x2m.xml" if you open it using a text editor you find at the start:

"X2M_FORMAT_VERSION Value = NUMBER"

Try changing the NUMBER to a lower one, the NUMBER will probably be "17.1000004" try lowering that to "16.0" or "17.0" if your are for some reason using a even more old version of the game/patcher/installer then you you should lower that number even more.

After that you can save and try to install the file again.

Hopefully that will help you, if you're using a original copy of the game with the lastest update and have downloaded the patcher/installer again you should not be having any problems!!
