Hi Patrons!

This month's video is about the missing colony of Roanoke, one of America's great mysteries. 

In additional news: my channel got approved for channel memberships, which I will release somewhere next week. Membership costs of my YouTube channel are a bit higher for the same perks as on Patreon, because YouTube takes a (more significant) revenue share from those subscriptions.

In short: as a patron on here you'll receive the exact same benefits for a lower price (although there have been surprisingly many patrons pledging above the $3 tier, and I am still figuring out a proper way to reward that!). 

To be fair, I prefer Patreon because it is independent from YouTube. Because of the demonetizations and sudden age restrictions on some of my videos, having an external platform as a solid support base for my work gives more peace of mind.
