Good to see it up for the general public! I hope these episodes bring in more supporters for Extra History.

I'm loving the dramatization style! I hope to see more of it on other videos as well but I understand this would probably be harder on events we have less details on. We'll probably never know how relevant a snack might have been to Alexander the Great for example.

Some in the youtube comments section have pointed out what appear to be minor factual errors. Would it be reasonably doable to redo the audio to correct these errors or would annotations be the only reasonable way to address these concerns as they come up (really hard to talk about anything for 8 minutes straight without making at least one mistake so it is not unexpected that there will be errors from time to time.)

Youtube doesn't allow you to make any changes to an existing video, but we're planning to wrap up this topic - as with every EH mini-series - with a special episode talking about the mistakes we made and the historical fabrications (that sandwich!) that we included for drama. Overall, though, it's great to have comments like those in the Youtube section which show that people care enough to pay attention and do their own research. We want our videos to be a touching-off point that launches more people into a love of history, but we hope they're not a first-and-last stop for anyone. Part of learning history is checking for accuracy and analyzing it from different perspectives!

Excellent Episode! I was most impressed with the two images, first of Princip firing with hate behind him, and then of the two bullets flying with the horror of WWI in the background. Would the artist consider combining/redrawing those into a single image and making it available as wallpaper?

I'm liking this feed, plus it is awesome to see the drama. It's nothing...it's nothing...

So... I actually had to eat a sandwich and drink a glass of lager after watching this video.

I really liked the episode. And the dramatization but I can see where it can upset others. It adds that huminization to these historical figures. Something that often seems to be left out of most history books. But you still got to the meat of notable events. I personally don't mind a little embellishment on the history series it's engaging. It's the sort of thing I see you guys do all the time with extra credits. It's mostly just to get people to stop and check facts. Which is clever if not a little misleading sometimes Maybe a disclaimer at the begining of the video to let people know some facts are less true then others.

We're going to wrap up the series with an episode talking about some of the places where we introduced a dramatization to the story, and we're hoping this gives people encouragement to look up the facts on their own so they can figure out the history for themselves - and in the process, learn even more details that we couldn't possibly cover during the show. The idea of adding a disclaimer to all the episodes is an interesting one, which I'll mull over. I definitely want to see how Episode 5 goes over first, but we may figure out new things we want to try along the way.
