two things; 1. the writting is excellent in this series and, 2. how amazing is Bolivar?! how did they teach us so little in world history about the south american continent in school (california)? its a shame i have known none of the events in this series

It is a shame that his story isn't taught more outside South America (and I think there are a few patrons here who could tell you there are qualms with the way his story is taught in some parts of South America, too). But I distinctly remember my 10th grade history book showing a picture of him and about a three paragraph explanation of who he was, which is OBVIOUSLY not enough. I'm glad we got the chance to tell his story a little further!
