Behind the Beans - Pax West (Patreon)

The Extra Credits team is on our way to Pax West!

This is going to be our second convention of the year and we're super pumped to be back in the Seattle area playing some games! We're going to be doing two panels which you can catch on https://www.twitch.tv/pax or in the Sphinx Room if you're at the event, where you can meet the cast and crew! 

Design Club Live will feature Show Runner Matthew Krol playing Dark Souls. With commentary from Studio Director/Game Designer Geoffrey Zatkin, Dept Chair from the DigiPen Institute of Technology/Game Designer, Ellen Guon Beeman, and Social Media Director Kat Rider. Who will be breaking down the look of the game, how Matt interacts with it and if the mechanics work for the player's experience. All so you can get a head start on what's most important in the creation of your next game!

The next Panel is Creators vs. The Algorithm  with our YouTube friends TierZoo, LowSpecGamer, and Princess Weekes! We'll be opening up with some really big questions like "What have you found most valuable in growing your YouTube Audience?" and "What crazy-effective things have YOU done to promote or bring people to your channel?" This should be a really fun discussion and should give you key knowledge in the steps to create your YouTube community at home. 

We'll also have time to cruise the Pax West's halls and try out the newest games. Hopefully, we will find a few new gems to stream on Twitch and we'll be checking out all that sweet gaming gear. There was even some mention of a YouTuber DnD night!
