As much as I am excited to watch this one, I was half hoping you would skip it so we could go straight to the Bronze Age Collapse.

Have you guys ever considered doing something on Louis Riel? The man is one of the most important figures in Canadian history, led two resistances against the government and been called a religious fanatic, but also a heroic rebel. Not many know about him, but he's a fascinating person.

I'd love to if it wins a vote! I was listening to a podcast about him recently; he's fascinating.

The one I'm really looking forward to is the Great Northern War. Ever since I got my hands on a recording of Tchaikovsky's "Mazeppa," I've had a special interest in that part of Europe's history. Here's hoping the series covers more than just the "Sweden vs. Russia" part of the conflict. Now, if only the Time of Troubles would win a raffle...

Have you ever considered exploring the French Revolution or someone like Robespierre. He tends to be demonized without exception in any fictional depiction, even something like Assassin's Creed Unity. On a side note what are your general feelings about AC games portrayal of history.

Have you ever considered doing an Extra History video on Zheng He? In case you don't know, Zheng He was a Chinese explorer, diplomat and admiral who lived during the 14th century. I understand that you guys do topics based on votes from Patreon subscribers, so would please be so kind as to notify your patrons of this Zheng He topic so that it can be nominated on Patreon? I would be really thankful for that.

French Revolution was up for a vote once, but it did not win. Hopefully it'll come back someday! I (Soraya) used to be a big fan of the AC series, although the more recent games haven't really grabbed me much. I've never done a deep dive on any of their subjects to see how accurate they are, but I do appreciate that they appear to strive for accuracy and include little things like the text you can read about a given area to learn about its history.

I can't really promote a thing to the $8 patrons as it wouldn't really be fair of me to try influencing them; they can suggest whatever topics they like, but if someone at this tier does happen to see this post and take an interest, I can at least confirm that Zheng He would be someone we'd be quite willing to do an Extra History series about!
