Joey, to explain a cool detail from this episode. After Orange canceled Shirley's Geass, Lelouch could use it again on her. However, Geass commands can only make people act. If Lelouch geassed someone to fly, they would not be able to do that, they would just try really hard and look goofy. So when Lelouch gave Shirley the geass to live when she was about to die, she could not magically survive but her body reacted to do anything it can to survive by pumping blood faster. It's a small deatil, but after he gave the geass, she started bleeding even more due to increased blood flow and a wound. So she couldn't survive but her body tried its best to survive, I always found it a neat detail with the excess blood

Back when Lelouch made Shirley forget everything was the point where Lelouch noticed he loved Shirley. He said something a long the lines "You don't realize how much a person means to you, until you lose them" Something like that, and he was heart broken after that.
