I'll try and explain Hisoka a little bit but I'm bad with words and explaining. But basically Hisoka loves to fight strong people, to have a challenge so to speak. And he has an insatiable urge to fight, and also kill. The examiners when they were eating were just talking about how they could feel his bloodlust as soon as they came in to contact with him, and that put them on edge. How they felt that all he wanted was just to attack/kill them. The reason he didn't kill Gon and Leorio in that forest was that he sensed they had potential to become strong, and therefore he restrained himself from killing them right then and there (which is rly hard for him) so that he can have his big fight later with them. Basically he is nurturing his food. And so then the scene with the cards was sort of showing how he, (can't really find the right words to explain it) but like he is sort of chaos. That shot of the Joker card amidst the falling cards emphasizing how he is a wildcard. And how he toppled the card house is kind of self explanatory. And in that scene to you could see how he was both struggling for restraining himself from going on a killing spree, and also revealing/longing for his "seeds" to bare fruits. I hope you can get atleast a little better understanding from my bad explanation, can't wait for more episodes ^^
