Spoiler free: Lelouch and light share many similarities, but the thing I like about Lelouch more is that he still has a heart. light, however was bonafine evil who considered himself a god.

There's definitely a comparison that can be made between Light and Lelouch, and yeah I won't get into detail to not spoil, (the more I have rewatched both shows the more I notice), but to put it simply for now without spoilers, they are different characters in different stories. (I can get more in depth later, but won't spoil here.)

Yeah.. i just cant watch this in sub.. ive been waiting for this ever since announce and now I just feel lost. Code geass is not code geass unless its in dub. and im one of the ones who prefers sub, certain animes have to be watched in sub, but it goes both ways, and code geass is a dub anime :(

Japanese Voice Actors are far better than a lot of English Voice Actors. They preform emotional scenes so much better while the English Dub sounds like someone trying to sound emotional.

That's how I feel about fma/ fmab. I grew up watching it in Dub even tho I mostly watch anime in sub. My exception is fma, cowboy bebop, and Samurai Champloo thoes dubs are top notch!

It's much appreciated! 😌☺️ and yeah Code Geass is a Rollercoaster of a ride with its twists, its like Death Note in that way. I haven't seen this anime in a good maybe 9 years now and I'm excited to rewatch it with you! :) Hope you get a chance to watch the first episode in Dub whenever so you see that's its actually pretty good too ;)

I don't know if you were recommended this or you picked it on your own or based on reviews/score. But good shit, and I'm glad you're watching it sub. The voice actor for Lelouch, Jun Fukuyama is one of my favorites.

This is my 2nd time trying to watch this reaction... First time the sub hurt my ears so much I couldn't believe what I was hearing... Im going to watch this reaction but it just doesnt even feel like code geass..... Suzaku voice is SASUKE UCHIHAS ENGLISH VOICE... and dont even get me started on 02 and LeLouch completely perfecting the emotions of the characters they played. Just some of the best english voice acting you will ever see in an anime.

I'll admit the sub is just fine, its not objectivly bad like most dubs are. but.. bbut.. the dub is just so fucking good on this show brooooooooooo, like the voices were so calm in english the show always put me at ease, I dont get that same effect in japenese.

I also don't want to come off as im hating against sub watchers at all, Im one of you, for the most part at least, there are less then 10 anime I think where dub is better. Ive seen over 100. I think im close to 200 now i stopped counting after I hit 3 digits.

bro i just realized that the english subtitles dont even get the words right... she doesnt say "dont kill him!" she says.. "He mustn't die!" its wayyyyy more mystical and mysterious, the subtitles take whats an amazing scene for her in dub and makes it seem confusing instead of mysterious. This is the only actual complaint I have with the sub... kind of a nit pic but im passionate about this anime to the bottom of my core its one of my favorites with such a small amount of episodes, all my other favorites have over 100 episode.

I don't think it's necessary to spam this much, appreciate his choices. I don't like MHA dub at all (Bakugo not sounding intense enough and Todoroki sounds like a 40 year old smoker instead of a quiet teenager) but I'm watching it regardless after just having to get used to it.

bro CHILL... and you're wrong she literally says "Don't Kill!" The subtitles are right. Dub changes the official translations sometimes to match the tone set out by the dubbing director. but it doesn't matter, I beg of you... cease with the paragraphs and just chill and enjoy ;__;
