Hi guys, today we wanted to share a fun little animation we had a new artist - Augmero - do for our Blender team. The goal here was mainly to test out a jiggle method Augmero uses involving an export to Maya before being reimported back into Blender. We're quite happy with the result and think we will definitely use this method for BC pt.2 as it allows for a lot more variation than other methods we've tried out so far in Blender. The cloth sim was created in Marvellous designer. We had the artist go through a couple of variations before settling on V2. What do you think? Which do you prefer?

I agree V2 is better in terms of lightening and showing of jiggle physics from taking off the top, gave it enough bounce to feel weight but not to little to feel floaty, if you apply this type of animation work to the dick and bludge side of animation we be golden for future projects.

The main differences that I'm seeing between V1 and V2 isn't the jiggle ... it's the lighting and the cloth. The side by side shows that the jiggle is very nearly identical between the two. The cloth sim however shows a marked difference, with V1 being way more scrunched and "loose" in Cerene's left hand, while V2 has more of a "taut and tight fitting" look to it. The V1 cloth sim is also showing some cloth "flutter" directly below Cerene's left hand at times which is not present in the V2 (and which should not be present at all). As for the boob jiggle itself ... you're on the right track here, but Cerene's breasts ought to have more weight/mass/inertia to them than I'm seeing here. They're a bit "too bouncy" in that they echo every movement a bit too strongly. If there was more dampening such that they were more "resistant" to moving, making them "heavier" it would look a bit more realistic I'm thinking.

nope

V1 has more visible polygons and is way more fidgety, in addition to having darker lighting. This is in addition to V2's breasts just looking larger. It's really hard to parse out just how the breast is behaving in response to the cloth. I don't think these presentations are really narrowed down enough to vote simply on the physics.

Thanks for input. However, the look and settings were intentional. We didn't want something too heavy or resistant (which we actually played around with initially) as it made them look fake. We really were aiming for something squishy here. IRL this could be something you would find with some morphologies. The goal was really to play around with how jiggly we could get them and how they could interact with the clothing. Keeping them too heavy didn't really allow us to experiment enough. James

It's nice to see 3D-crators experimenting more with cloth. Cloth in most 3D-content has been subpar so far. In many animations it looks like the cloth that is worn has an almost non-existant thickness. I like V2 alot. V1 looks way too loose and soft and it almost looks like the boobs could slip out of the dress at any time. V2 looks more like something that could be worn due to the tightness of the material. The thickness looks good. At the moment I feel like there are many 3D-artist that makes very nice models for their characters. Focusing on details like fluids, makeup and cloth will seperate "good" from "amazing".

The "goldilocks zone" for weight/mass/inertia is going to be rather tricky to find between all the various sliders at your command ... but once you do find it you're going to have something fabulous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rOIl_8GsVk

I like the firmer, prouder look of the old style in Bloodlust... these look to soft to me.

yep, we'll keep experimenting, I think one area that needs better results in general is fluid simulation for cum shots, only seen that done well a few times

Too bad that Morfium isn't available anymore for fluid sims, he did a great job for you and other artists.

I'd say the cloth looks better in V1, jiggle (and lighting) better in v2

Thank goodness we've finally gotten to the point where we're experimenting with this. At the moment they're still just a little too floaty, but the essence is there for sure! Cannot wait to see this refined.

Clearly V2. Just look at the clothing.

I would say somthing between V1 and V2, the nipples in V2 are way too hard compare to the rest of the breast mass.

V2 IS 👌🏾💯🥵🤩😍💗
