Here's the new animation we've mentioned over the past couple of weeks. The animator for this one was Sinless Celery with our production coordinator James stepping in with some final touches and the video edit. We've created two edits - the main animation with a faster build-up as well as an extended version. 

We're really happy with how the hair sim turned out in particular on this one. We used a cloth simulation in this case. The jiggle physics on Lisa were done using the wiggle bones addon.

Now I know why they change Sophia's hair down into tied hair in BL. Tie her hair would make the render faster. Anyway still waiting for the next BL update.

Hey guys (James here), again, the purpose of these test animations is to help us build a strong Blender team that will be put to work (and already has for the people we've confirmed so far) on Bloodcrown Pt.2 and the Bloodlust universe moving forward. Again, it doesn't impede work on Pt.1 at all as this is a separate team from the maya animators. We also use these animations to test out our rigs - in this case Cerene's rig - and to find better solutions by trying out other people's rigs (in this case Tifa) so we can adapt our own models to make animating easier. We are working on Bloodlust and we do care.

Hey everyone, got a question for my fellow supporters: What’s in for the Affect3d-Team if they release/work on Bloodlust Part 3? Happy sub’s, praise in the comments, peace of mind since they finally delivered what they had promised us for years and most importantly our money? As far as I’m concerned they don’t care about any of that + they are already getting our money anyways! Albert freaking Einstein said it almost a century ago: “We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” Are you getting it now? Are you finally understanding it after years of being lost? Miro and his team ain’t the problem, WE ARE! Each and every single one of us “subs” is part of it! We could have had Bloodlust 3 and probably even BL-4 already, if only we had realized this earlier. All we had to do was to NOT consent, to NOT participate, to NOT PAY them, so they would need to EARN our money by working and releasing Bloodlust and GF4E movies! But we didn’t! We kept paying and begging! Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me! Shame on all of us! Know that if you’re here for movies, the Bloodlust’s and the GF4E’s you are actively PREVENTING their release with every single dollar you are pledging! Almost March and still no relevant Bloodlust update to get the hype train rolling (this was promised for January) not even a single screenshot and that Cyberpunk animation being stuck in limbo is also still nowhere to be seen 🙄. WTF. are you Affect3d people serious 😡 (especially calling out miro) ?!? Just stop scamming us already and release the damn content people actually and rightfully demand and that you still haven't delivered after many delays. JESUS CHRIST 😤🤬!!!!!!! Ohh and weekly updates would be nice to have again. Thanks for nothing. Man this sure is the worst Patreon that I support by far. Pure incompetence from all sides 😮‍💨 .

Dude, you have to support creators. Creating these animations takes time. Do we want new porn, fuck yeah we do, and Miro’s shit is the best out there. It’s longer, better, more entertaining, more detailed, and ultimately worth it. Other teams creating animations take years to develop and release, and usually with dozens of developers and much, much higher budgets. The fact that we’ve seen 4 major releases from the A3D team in the timeframe we have is pretty amazing. The fact that we’ve gotten a shitload of pic sets as well is just unbelievable. Does A3D overpromise on delivery timelines more often than they should, probably. And that’s something they’ll need to address in their business practices, but the vitriol from you guys is ridiculous. Ultimately, my investment of $5 or $10 a month is not large, and worth it.

Difficult struggle with myself to be honest since I'm a founders tier so 5$ doesn't hurt me much and I can still somehow justify it (despite the content drought) with the given option of sometimes receiving content that only 10 $ supporters would normally get plus being able to point the Affect3D team to their drawbacks over and over again until they hopefully fully realise it themselves one day is very convenient. Lastly I'm not letting that discount for long time Patreon supporters on Bloodcrown miro once talked about slip through my fingers after all those struggles. No sir 😤 .

Version preference: STRONGLY in favor of AA28_anim_extended.mp4 over the alternative. Given the camera time to linger on and "savor" the action is extremely important. Rush things too much (like miro tends to do) and you're more concerned with frame count than you are with scene impact. Considering that most of the frames shown seem to have been rendered in ~3 seconds each, that ought to give you enough leeway to pad out the frame counts to what the scene (and the action in the scene!) deserves, rather than trying to stick to some artificial cap on frames due to needing to budget render times.

Fully agree that the extended one is better. We want more time with these characters. We want them to fuck longer, hehe. But I don't like seeing the same motions from 8 different angles. 3 is enough. I think the animations were good, but more hip wiggling and deep penetration would be appreciated. ;) Didn't like Cerene's cock in this one. Perhaps the lighting? It looks like a dildo, not a cock.

About the Blood Crown vs this, as long as this additional content isn't taking away from BC, I'm all for it. The main question always seems to be, "where is BC"? Which I agree with. And, I agree, the amount of content in 2021 was lacking. I feel like a LOT of time was spent on the Affect3d website. Hoping we see a lot more content this year, but without sacrificing quality. Yeah, I don't ask for much. ;P There WAS an update that miro is spending almost full time on BC now, in case you missed it.

Next time, for the part 2 update(Blender team), it would be great to put a disclaimer as a reminder that it is from the Blender team. I know it is not your fault but cumulative 3-year rage is not something easy to calm down with something that is not directly related to part1. Cheer up and show everyone how fast and cool you are when part2 has come.

I'm thinking it's a combination of the lighting and the fact that the skin on both Cerene and Lisa was functionally "dry" because there was no sweat sheen/shine on either of them anywhere. Add in the fact that Cerene's scrotum looked like it had little to no texture or contouring between penis and testicles and you start getting an impression of plastic rather than flesh. Then with the way the root of the penis shifted around in space relative to Cerene's crotch the whole assembly starts nudging towards Uncanny Valley territory and that sense of "that's a dildo, not a flesh and blood penis" becomes hard to shake off and deny. Perhaps a touch more skin shine would have helped prevent the skin looking quite so matte flat/plastic-y in the lighting that was being used. It's a fair criticism that I hadn't considered until you mentioned it in these terms.

This is fundamentally not the case, especially when you compare it to the caliber of quality and output of other independent artists with far less manpower, experience, and funding at their disposal over the past 5 years particularly. Glad you consider your 5 dollars a month to be worth it. Unfortunately longtime supporters here disagree when you consider the output/quality at the beginning of this Patreon compared to now, and especially considering that those who didn't pay for the Patreon actually got a better deal in terms of the image sets and paid far less for the same content when no animations were coming out and the pipeline ground to standstill. It's ultimately a good thing to hold a team as well-funded and connected as A3D is to task for this. If you're not permitted to hold someone accountable in this situation, then there's simply no situation where you can have a greivance. I'm willing to look forward (as I've done many times over already to my own chagrin) to see if they can turn it around this year, but there's just no leg to stand on if you're defending the constant failure to deliver on repeated promises of change thus far.

Zero impact, its like they're trying their hardest not to have sex. They're completely rigid. Depthless lighting completely devoid of emotion. Zero animation variability, I know it's not just slightly sped up, but it's really hard to tell that this isn't just a loop. Spaghetti hair. The dick looks like it's it's a toilet paper roll in a sock and the balls look like they're glued to Cerene's legs. Overall, the first animation we saw from Miro over a decade ago was better in every way. This is the only actual content drop for an entire month and it's pitiful. This team will take years to catch up the quality Miro was producing in his first major release. Another month of no content and zero updates on bloodlust.

Just about the only viewing angle that would be able to see a belly bulge in this particular animation would be a Cerene's PoV and require her to look down at Lisa's belly (between her breasts at that angle). Lighting would probably be an issue given the posing so the bulge would be really hard to see even from that perspective. But it would require Cerene to look down, rather than looking up at Lisa's face the whole time.

Whoa whoa whoa! You might want to cut back some of the salt from your diet! Is this animation "perfect" (per se)? No, it's not perfect ... but it is promising. Are there elements of it that could have been done better? I completely agree that there quite a few elements that could have been executed better (and sent multiple pages of critique to James and Sinless Celery on those points that would want to be addressed). Is this a "throw out baby with bathwater" moment? In my estimation, not by a longshot. For a first draft "test" of skills, this was relatively decent in my view and demonstrates some areas that need work while also demonstrating others that are looking pretty darn good! Average render time per frame? 3 seconds (!!!) Total frames? 1200+ (!!) Run time clock, Frame indicator, Camera indicator, Render time indicator ... YES!!! More please! And if you concentrate your focus on the Poles In Holes factor exclusively, the animation of the hip action (ignoring almost everything else in the scene) was actually pretty well done (in my opinion, of course) and showed a reasonable basis for building upon to improve the other elements in the scene. Now, it would have been nice to have other camera angles (seeing their faces would have helped tremendously) and to "involve" the rest of their bodies behind just pushing their genital assets together ... but that's an additional refinement that may have been outside the scope of this specific animation test (the blurb we got with this post doesn't explain the animation test parameters, so we don't know). Looking at this test animation as a First Draft (which isn't perfect) makes me want to see a Second Draft of it with additional elements addressed and fixed in it so it isn't quite such a One Note™ experience focusing on Poles In Holes to the exclusion of everything else. That desire for "fix this up a bit and show me more" didn't happen for the Circle of Love animations that have been released (the daisy chain of Cerene, Sophia, Lanessa all sucking each other's cocks) and definitely did not happen for the Pure As Sin or Seed of Rebirth animations either. I'm thinking that this animation just needs a bit more work to be something really special, because it has potential. That feeling of "this has potential" hasn't happened in a while. Please don't reject new animators and their work out of spite for past disappointments in "a pox on all your houses" kind of way. That just prevents any new blood from being added to the Blender team unless they're PERFECT™ before they even apply to join and have absolutely nothing to learn (or contribute) under James' leadership.

What James is saying is true, coming from me that is something as I refuse to lie. idc that I'm hired at A3D that won't stop me from speaking some facts, everyone needs to come down a few pegs. yes last year wasn't ideal in a some core areas that's a given, yet one way or anther shit is going to improve I know this to be the case.

Hi, (James here), thanks for reply and criticism. This was actually 3 angles - the edit just cuts them up. Yup, understand that you want to see more from these characters, but that's why we're making more animations in a short format. Again the goal here is also to find talented animators. And the brief is for a 20-40 second animation with 1 pose and variation. I think with regards to the comments on Cerene's dick, it's due to the lighting set up as it's exactly the same dick/model as in other animations previously. But noted.

Hi IBT, thanks for your comments (James here). In this case, as mentioned in another comment below, the goal is more of a shorter form animation. We're also keen on creating a base animation "structure" in each animation where the animator uses NLA layers in Blender and we build variation on top of that. We're essentially building a workflow for our future Blender productions. And in this case a render farm wasn't used so the render time wasn't really an issue regardless. That's why we created the extended version with build up and there's no cap on frames.

animations go through several hands and especially look dev is a major bottle neck currently that we're working to resolve, but the stock pile of 'almost done' animations is being sorted, so supply will be more constant over coming months

I think we've put out good content with the image sets and some of the animations and I've said for years that Blood Crown is bonus content, having said that, I definitely agree in general that it's taken far too long for BC to come out, I'm dying to put out another full length animation and we've now lined things up to right that wrong
