Here is our first Blender animation test loop, once again using the scene created by Method Mad with models from MustardSFM, Rigid3D, and Nyl.

In this loop, miro played with the animation tools, graph editor, rigs, blend shapes, and action editor. There's no jiggle, hair animation, or physic incorporated into this animation at present.

We rendered this one in eevee, and once again have not included any post work. With one render cycle of 990 frames, the render time came out to around 1 hour 22 minutes. This would typically have taken 7 days to render in Maya.

The quick turn around on this means once we've transitioned over to this software, we could potentially start taking requests for variations to the animations we're already producing. In the spirit of that, let us know if you have a small idea of what the girls could do next in this scene. 🙂

That is an impressive turnaround comparison between Blender and Maya. My suggestion? Have Tifa sit up a bit and tweak a nipple.

Have you played with the fluid simulator yet? You should look into flipfluids add on if you have some $$ to spend. I have MAYBE a few broken months worth of blender experience, but the add on is super intuitive.

Curious to know if the turnaround improvements transfer over to fluid sim. Precum or small trickly fluids would be cool to test. Otherwise, yeah some sort of breastplay.

Suggestion: Tifa uses her right hand to pull Claire's head down enough for the two of them to kiss. Claire keeps her right hand on Tifa's erection, continuing to slowly stroke it while she kisses Tifa. Tifa pulls her hand away from behind Claire's head to resume her original position, and Claire does the same (so the animation can be looped seamlessly), and then right at the very end before the repeat, Tifa winks at the camera in a "bet you wish you were me!" kind of way.

7 days Maya render time 82 minutes Blender render time That's about a 120x advantage in render time for Blender. Definitely a good reason to switch to Blender ...

I would like to see how the cumshots for blender work and see if they will help make them fast to produce. So that hopefully we can see more.

Bloodlust Lanessa Part 1 took around 3 years in Maya. Then it would take only 10 days (round-up (3*365*24*60/(10800/82))/(60*24)) in Blender to complete Part 2 with the same assets without any bug, error and time taking to learn. (and also resting) Yes, I totally agree to switch to Blender from Annually release into Weekly release. Anyway, we still not compare animation to animation from Maya and Blender so it would be a good comparison here.

Well they need to make it and all first. render times even when slow, rarely take longer than making the scene itself.

yeah and maya + redshift is the fastest in the unbiased renderer category afaik... so difference is pretty crazy

So will you have to go through the process of porting Tara and Sayako again? That took a really long time.

But are you going to start rendering everything at at least 1080p/24p, or are you going to continue using shortcuts to upscale and frame interpolate?

yes, they're taking time because not in "use", but Sayako we're using in the upcoming 'Fan Service' so the port will be quick
