Hey everyone. Going to start the update by letting you know that we may have a different animation for you this week in place of the CyPunk animation. We’re currently working on some test animations in Blender, and not sure which one will be finished first, so we’ll just post whatever is ready when it’s ready.

Blender -- Our continued exploration of this software has been illuminating to say the least. We hadn’t looked into Blender since version 2.7, but working with 2.9 now has resulted in many pleasant surprises and also a lot of frustration with Maya for not keeping pace with its competitors. Our choice to use Maya in 2015-2016 was based on it being the leading available software in the industry at the time, and we’ve invested a lot into making it work for us. What we’ve found using Blender in the past few weeks, however, is that it’s now superior to Maya in more ways than just rendering speed. We’ve found a number of features (object parenting, inverse kinematics, animation layers and clips, etc.) just work in Blender, whereas in Maya they either don’t work as expected or come with usability issues. The amount of time we can potentially save seems substantial, so we’ll keep testing various aspects of the software in preparation for our eventual switch to it after Bloodlust.

On that note, we’ve heard back from the Blender rigger who is porting Flying High Lanessa and Cerene into Blender, and Lanessa is done.

The Seed of Rebirth Animation -- The pile driver animation is still in the early stages, with miro requesting a number of blocking changes after reviewing the first draft.

Circle of Love 1000 Patrons Double Penetration Animation -- This one is going for another round of clean up to address clipping visible from each of the cameras that were setup.

Fan Service Image Set -- We unexpectedly came across some hair that we’d like to try out on Fan Service Sayako. This one looks a bit closer to her original style, so we want to set it up and see how it looks. We’ll preview that when it’s ready.

So you will keep Bloodlust in Maya software then switch next near?

So what's up with CyPunk? More delays? Still rendering? More corrections needed? What's the blender animation about? Is that being done in parallel? Lots of new things still being put on the plate it seems.

That appears to be the plan. It's at the end of the big paragraph where they state they will eventually move over after Bloodlust is out.

I think Lition was the one who turned me onto Blender, his animations were always so good, so fluid. Glad you're on the bandwagon.

I have to be more carful now :D even with that being said, I cannot support this at all. Why can't we finish stuff that has been on the go for months before adding to the pile that seemingly never ends. I understand there might not be tons of overlap with whom is doing this to the Patreon vids/content, yet why add to this pile when it's already huge and clearly lacking in major areas of output, BE IT for whatever reasons they are, that is the reality we're seeing :/ I'm all for Blender I think it's great even know I've hardly used it myself (from other peoples I know they all find it amazing) however I'd MUCH prefer if we got the in progress works done before diving into this. Not including images that have been.... somewhere. End of the day people want to see content flowing out at reasonable paces once more, yet for the past 2 years it's been hit and miss big time. We're in another miss atm. Vids have turned into a rarity to be frank. images are all over the place with output. I'm aware of some of said reasons however I also know potential fixes aren't being used. Be it whoever makes the content idc, provided we get the similar feel as if it's done by the boss man himself AND is coming out at reasonable speeds, I don't think anyone minds when those 2 factors are met. :) At any rate we'll see how the Blender stuff goes first.

Alright well we didn't have an animation last week. What happened?

If only they weren't working 347 different animations. Maybe we'd see one this year. You can't convince me that this isn't slowing production on bloodlust.
