Blender test renders (Patreon)

As we mentioned in last week's text update, we've been testing Blender rendering options to ensure the quality is comparable to Maya rendering. Miro rendered the attached images in Blender using a scene created by the artist Method Mad (with models from MustardSFM, Rigid3D, and Nyl).
We tested two Blender rendering engines, Eevee and Cycles, at two different sizes, 1080p and 4k. In the 1080p test, Eevee produced the attached image in 16 seconds, while Cycles took 102x longer at 27 minutes and 27 seconds. A similar image would take about 10-15 minutes in Maya, and even more in Daz.
For the 4k test, Eevee rendered the image in 1 minute 15 seconds, while Cycles took 95x longer at 1 hour and 59 minutes. We don't render 4k in Maya but based on the 1080p test, we can guess it would take about 50 times longer than Eevee.
Things to note: neither of the images have had any post work, which we'd normally do for our final work. Also the scene is slightly optimized to the Eevee engine.
Let us know what you think of the quality, both in terms of how they compare to each other, and how they compare to the visual quality of our animations.
