We all agree, Fuck John Gilbert. He's too confident for his own good and may need to be humbled. Also, love that we've finally reached the iconic moment in which the promise of 'An Eternity of Misery' has been stated. This show could not hide how much they loved the episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Amends. From Stefan leaving his ring and attempting to die by waiting for the sun come up and then giving a speech to Elena that stops short of him almost asking her "Am I a righteous man?" And him killing his father, all these Angel parallels. Also, the Jeremy/Anna ship is underrated fan favorite of mine. Alaric and Damon continuing to deny that they're becoming friends. Just when Alaric is about move on, his dead wife shows up as if to almost say: you don't get to be healthy and move on, more pain misery for you
