In a series full of amazing episodes, this one is my favorite. It's just...beautiful in so many ways. The portrayal of death in particular was remarkable.

This episode is simply beautiful - seeing Death and what she does, is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. I love the idea of 'a kind word and a friendly face', and she was perfect for such a special role. It is definitely a tear-jerker for sure.

I still can’t believe how well Kirby pulled off Death of the Endless, I honestly never thought anyone would be able to do it properly but she completely nailed it. I think the lesson to be found in Hob and the slave trade is to be mindful of the things we do today in our world “just because that’s just the way things are done.” Be forward thinking and always be willing to listen to advice freely given from a friend.
