I have never seen a single episode of this series. I'm very happy to be diving in because I thoroughly enjoyed the pilot episode. It just seemed so magical mixed with a very heavy load of emotions and it really mashes well together. OUAT is actually the first show that i watched. I was 12 years old at the time and i feel in love with it immediately. Essentially i grew up with it. It holds a special place in my heart. I actually see this show as a third parent because of all the stuff it thought me. That's how much i love this show. It perfectly manages to give you different perspectives one being the heroes the other being the villains. And as the show goes on you'll really start to feel for all the characters. My favorite being Regina. You'll love her. So excited you are doing this. You will not regret it. Also btw if you didn't know the writers of this show worked on lost as well.

OUAT is honestly one of my favorite shows of all time. I binged the first season in a little more than a week when I first sat down to watch it. I hope you are able to find a way to watch it after it leaves Netflix and if you do I hope you enjoy all this amazing story has to offer. Just have to say season 3 and the first half of 4 are my favorite.

I really enjoyed watching your reaction to this Pilot episode, and I'm really happy you're intrigued by the storylines. I truly hope you're excited to watch more. I really appreciate this reaction from you too. So... thank you again! This Pilot episode is amazing! I love both the storylines for our characters back in the Enchanted Forest, as well as for our characters in the present day... in Storybrooke. In the present, everyone is cursed without memories of who they truly are and who their loved ones are, and where they have all been frozen in time until now... now that Emma has arrived and has begun to change things and weaken the curse over everyone, simply by choosing to stay in town because she sensed something wasn't right with the woman raising her son as her own. Not only do people have no memories, but they also haven't aged a day, which is why Snow White and Emma are now about the same age... the same age like all fairytale characters were in the Enchanted Forest just before the curse swept them away to our world. As for the Evil Queen's happy ending... she cast this curse over the heroes for a reason yet to be revealed. She wants everyone to suffer, while she's happy in the knowledge that they are all separated from their loved ones and miserable. This is why she says that the world they're about to be transported to is so horrible. Not simply because our world itself is horrible. It's possible she has all of her memories intact from the her previous life in the Enchanted Forest, which is foreshadowed, or is implied when she stands in front of her mirror while holding the storybook. Regina is the town Mayor and has complete control over everyone because everyone's miserable and afraid of her. Afraid to defy and stand up to her. That is their curse, and her happiness. Now... I love Emma and the storyline with her being destined to be the Savior, and I love that she is Snow White's and Prince Charming's daughter. I also love Snow White, Prince Charming, Regina the Evil Queen, and of course Rumplestiltskin... otherwise known as Mr. Gold in Storybrooke. He's so creepy and brilliant! And Henry is adorable. I love seeing the rest of the characters shown so far in Storybrooke as well. One of my favorite scenes in this Pilot... I love the beginning scene where Prince Charming gives Snow White True Love's Kiss in order to wake her from the Evil Queen's poison from the apple. It's so beautiful and what a romantic setting as the snow is falling around them. And another of my favorite scenes... I love the curse coming and sweeping over the entire kingdom as the Evil Queen boasts to Snow White about how she won and that the only happy ending would be her own, until Snow proclaims that Emma will one day find them and defeat the curse and therefore the Evil Queen herself. That good always wins. What a phenomenal moment! And then... I also absolutely love the moment between Emma and Henry at the playground, when Henry assures Emma that he understands she had given him up in order to give him his best chance, like Snow White and Prince Charming did for her too. And the moment Emma tells Henry that she believes she had been abandoned by her parents, then adopted until she was three, only to wind up back in the foster homes... so sad. Emma has definitely had a tragic life and she doesn't believe in herself. This is just such a sad, yet powerful moment. :) And lastly... I absolutely love the chemistry between Charming and Snow White, which is fabulous, because the actors chosen to play them... Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas... are married in real life. They met on the set of the show and fell in love throughout the filming of season one, then married sometime early on during the filming of season three. And now they have two children together. Their chemistry is beautiful and their love story is very real. I absolutely love them. :) Your journey into this show has just begun and I can't wait for you to watch and react to more!! I think you will absolutely continue to love Once Upon a Time. At least... I do hope you will. Thank you again! Until your next reaction, my friend...

Remove the backstory and Regina doesn't look that bad in Storybrooke, in this episode we perceive a lot of her actions as bad or suspicious because we know she's the evil queen but it does make sense that she would be standoffish and later outright hostile to Emma. Imagine adopting a child through a closed adoption and suddenly the birth mother butts in and is all like "I just want to make sure Henry's alright", most people would react with a variation of "Fuck you and go away". It really is none of Emma's business and if a storyline like this happened on a not supernatural drama Emma could easily be framed as the villain who worms her way back into Henry's life damaging his relationship with Regina. It's an interesting dynamic because the evil queen is clearly a villain but mayor Regina is a bit more ambivalent, her actions are at no point evil or even unreasonable.

Most people when they watch the first episode of OUAT: The Queen is so evil Me, watching the first OUAT episode: OMG! I’m in love with the Queen! From the moment she stepped onto screen, she was my favourite & still is to this day.

I finally watched your reaction (glad I didn't watched it last night at 2:30 AM xD) and holy cow. Saying I was excited to see this, is a huge understatement. Side fact here: For me, it's SO strange, to see the actors on screen, that I've had the honor to meet in person :D The chemistry between Snow and Charming is so incredibly beautiful and believable. I forgot how heartbreaking it is to see him in a coma (which I think they did an amazing job with, since he got stabbed in the fairytale world) and Snow doesn't know, but feels drawn to him. True love even still fights a curse. <3 Fun fact here: The actor Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin fell in Love with each other on Set and have been married for a couple of years now ♥ And you were right: Regina (Evil Queen) is fully aware of what is happening. So does Henry, but if I remember it correctly, she doesn't know exactly how much he knows. Gold (Rumple) still gives me the creeps - and years have passed. Robert Carlyle is an outstanding actor and such a fit for Rumple. But so is Lana Parrilla (Evil Queen). I fell heads over heels in love with her and her role. You'll see that, once you continue watching. There is SO MUCH more to come. So much backstory. You'll love it. ♥

Tell the truth Liam... you thought it was going to be Charmed coming out on top, didn't you? Even though Charmed IS my all time #1 TV show I knew once I saw OUAT as an option it would be the winner. OUAT is newer than Charmed... I mean Charmed did air for the first time 22 yrs ago, and I believe most of your viewers are under 30 and obsessed with OUAT, most of them probably haven't even seen Charmed themselves. I am NOT suprised that OUAT won nor am I disappointed, I like OUAT. I've only made about 5-6 episodes in season 4 before I stopped watching when it was first airing but have been re-watching w/ASR and was just gonna finish it off with her. I'm also kinda watching JayPerViews OUAT reactions but more interested in his DW and Charmed reactions. Still hoping for a day when Shan decides to actually watch DW instead of tricking us into thinking she is when it's really My Name Is Simon. Anyways... looking forward to your next reaction. I just discovered jayperview last week and catching up on all his charmed. There's girl who does it too but I'm not to find of her persona so it's hard to watch her. And of course 1 reactor tried the remake and I refused to watch that. (But then again I fit your 30+ age profile , 37 exactly) . So shows like buffy , charmed, and xena I grew up on and it was nice to see kick ass women. These days sure there are maybe a few but mostly involve mixed gender ensembles
