Didn't think I'd talk about menstruation on 372 pages but here we are, thanks Balort. The suspension of menses is a real, common phenomenon among models. The demands of the industry are both highly stressful and encourage poor eating habits in order to keep the 'correct' body type, so girls wind up with a significant nutritional imbalance that causes the body to suspend ovulation until they're healthy again. Mike and Conor's horrified reactions are entirely accurate.
