I will keep my main tuning posting always up to date, thus you will always find my latest tunings there. Meanwhile Douwe showed me a trick how to achieve even higher or lower values than -12.99dB and I had to apply this method for further adjustments and fine tuning of my personal EQ because it opens up the possibility for even more extreme tweaks, as 10 filters can be quite limiting.

You can get lower values than -12 by simply placing the cursor in between the 1 and 2 and typing 5 for example, then deleting the 2 at the back and hit real time update. The 15dB value is stored within the unit and it will remain active like that until you start switching between different EQs through the Airoha app it can happen that it defaults this value to -12 again, keep that in mind, always check if you still have the desired value before saving the EQ and leaving the app, otherwise it will apply the default minimum value on its own.

Thanks to this discovery I managed to reduce bass even more as with -12.99dB  it was still slightly too bassheavy overall, if you reduce more than this you can start influencing mids and the overall balance too much as the bass filter acts in a very broad range, keep this in mind. But I think -13.5 is a nice compromise, Douwe for example uses -13.3. Keeping bass as balanced and neutral as possible is important because it will be boosted in ANC mode (green) again, thus may appear too boomy then (so far I didn't even notice that ANC also seems to boost treble):

in case there should be interest I will keep my previous tunings here, although I usually think that my latest one should be definitely better than the previous one, otherwise I wouldn't post it. I had to reduce the area around 9K even more as there was still a peak hearable and you should notice the improved smoothness when playing pink noise if you switch between my current tuning and the previous one.

I am still not finished, thus in case I manage to improve it even more, you will find my latest up-to-date version in the main posting, while here I will add all older versions.

I was doing some analysis of my current tuning compared to my previous target I used for the Free Pro (blue) and compared to the Harman target (pink):

You notice that there is a smilar tendency between my previous tuning for the Free Pro and my current one for the Free Pro 2, the radio between frequencies is slightly different, but they still sound very similar. I need to depart from the Harman target in some areas as it just doesn't sound 100% correct if followed to strictly. There are obviously 3 key points where you need to stay tight, this is 3K, 6K and 10K, everything in between is a wiggle room where you can depart and need to, otherwise the sound won't be smooth. I am still trying to figure out to get the "perfect" final curve which I can use for all my further adjustments which should finally offer correct and smooth results for every single resonance frequency.
