Finally the new upgraded SoundCore Boost has arrived. It could easily become the class leader in this category. The sound is very powerful and remains really impressive up to highest levels without falling apart or becoming harsh or somehow thin.

Unfortunately it seems to suffer from exactly the same processing issues that we already had with the Rave NEO and Motion Boom with weird pumping bass at lower levels. I will send this video to Anker and see what they will respond.

Hoffe die beheben bald mal den Bug, das nervt ganz schön. Wäre das Problem nicht , ist zu dem Preis der Motion Boom absolut inpressiv

This looks great! Also, you Gov check out the wf-1000xm4 earbuds? I saw a frequency response graph, and they are similarly tuned to the xm3s but with less mid bass and slightly more sub-bass

That is a super weird bug and would annoy me to no end if I owned the speaker.

From super* review, he took his own measurement and shows the graph at 21 minute mark https://youtu.be/iKqHBXgCc3o

Hello Oluv! Is it me or I'm having some sound problems from my Motion Boom? At low volumes, there is a problem with the DSP or Limiter where the bass kicks in and out randomly which is very annoying. The limiting only happens 80% to Max volume, but I dont understand why its happening at lower volumes. I've also noticed it on your motion boom at a certain low volume, the limiter kicks in for no reason. I've contacted support about this and said to unpair, reset, use another device like phone or laptop. if the problems still persist then its going to be for warranty. Support also said that they've received a growing number of complaints for motion boom regarding this matter. Can you also post a set of pictures for the best EQ settings for the motion boom that can mimic other bluetooth speaker brands sound quality even though there is a limited number of eq bands that we can configure the motion boom to its best custom sound. Thank you!

I found his measurements, but the XM4 measures completely different, should sound way smoother but maybe also more muddy, not sure… https://squig.link/?share=Super_Review_Target,Sony_WF-1000XM4_(ANC_off)

Good thing there's a slider to make the xm4s so sound less muddy, i was more concerned over the treble possibly being too sharp. I'm confident that these can be eq'ed to sound great with LDAC

Nice speaker, but the birds around you sound even better!

Wer nicht gelacht hat hat das Video nicht bis 7:03 gesehen! Herrlich Olaf! Habe mich ein wenig erschrocken mit den Kopfhörern und bei der sinnlichen Musik, aber das war schon funny!

Yes it’s the same issue with the Boost as shown here. I reported this a while back but nothing really came back. Did you update it to the latest firmware? Didn’t it improve afterwards?

Ich hoffe du verzeihst die Schadenfreude, aber ist ja nichts passiert....

Does it also appear when you play simple test tones like at onlinetonegenerator.com?
