I finally managed to do some measurements of the Beolit 20 outdoors from a distance of 50cm as usual. All measurements were done at the same volume level of around 2/3. I didn't notice any dynamic bass boost for low levels, but as the bass is already so boosted to begin with it doesn't really need it.

First a measurement directly from front with the default setting and with the user setting as shown in my videos with the dot opened slightly and moved towards relaxed, this makes the sound definitely more neutral and natural sounding.

Second measuerement shows the response from different angles from front to back with 45° steps.

And final measurement shows the power response averaged from all measurements done all around.

Thanks for the sound power & off axis measurements Oluv, Do you find that they better represent the sound of a speaker, at least in a reflective space, like a room?

I think it could give a better idea of how a speaker can sound all around. You could hear from my video outdoors that the sound could change quite a bit if listened off axis compared to on axis and while none of them really sounded “best” if the whole circle all around is taken into account it seamed quite coherent and you could hear that it’s a usual smiley response with boosted bass and treble and slightly lacking mids. I think the graph represents it quite well, because how else would you like to listen to that speaker? Sitting directly in front you could hear it was somehow weird. It’s a speaker to be listened from all around somewhere outdoors. And the heavy bass can really appear kicking outdoors when it’s noisier anyhow just that it cannot quite keep up that bass, I preferred the more honest approach from Teufel, a bit less bass but more dynamics and punch.
