Just some thougts about my future plans I wanted to share with you. I hope I can really manage to realize them which will heavily depend on the contacts and companies I can reach.

Sorry about the wind noise, but I hoped it would be recorded less prominent, also my steps create some low-frequency rumble when wearing a headphone. I hope I will get the DIY low-cut filter from my friend soon which should minimize these issues.

Maybe you start a Kickstarter project. I would love to buy a good ie or Bluetooth speaker tuned by u.

Yes, a Kickstarter or such is a good idea, but you have to give some kind of extra to achieve something. I think to make hedphones which by default are highly neutral, but with highly flexible software EQs, and that for a normal price would be very attractive. However there should be some extras, like many user EQ-s, which could be saved and choosen in the hardwer itself, without a need for a software support for a later useage, but also a wide OS support, so everybody can easily set their own sound taste. You shoud alsa create some common but from neutral only slightly deviating presets, like a sightly bass or treble heavy or v shape. etc.. We already have so many products with EQ presets, but almost all those are so strongly exaggerated, and the user EQ is simply unusable, so that even if the hardware has the ability, you can't set up a normal sound. So big thumbs up, for the idea! And big thumbs up for theating risk of infection seriously and teaching the responsible behavour to your child too! 👍

I can hear this peak at around 7khz in the earfun which is not there on my etymotics or my studio monitor. I can imagine it being too harsh if you didnt bring it down. The etymotic still sounds a bit smoother because of this but the earfun also sounds more open and airy which is nice. The etymotics are soo smooth they make me drowsy sometimes😴

Hi Olaf, i really wish you good luck with your idea. I already watch your channel for a few years now and bought many of your favorite speakers and i was never disappointed with them. So i think you now something about good sounding speakers. I would recommend to make 3 types of audio hardware: Small bluetooth speaker with wifi and airplay (with form type like soundcore motion plus or bigger uboom), with good battery life and sound ofcourse :). Secondly bigger home wifi speaker (something like Audiopro C10), and some good in ears. For me is this “trio” absolutely enough and would definetly buy it from your brand :) I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and your project!

Ich halte das für eine prima Idee ! Dein eigenes Ding, deine eigene Brand !

Hi Oluv, I'm going to be a bit of a downer here, but there is a world of difference between an idea and a commercial product, and you shouldn't underestimate the cost, time and energy that will be required to turn an idea into a successful thing. I've run a kickstarter, and made commercial things for other or for me over the last 30+ years and it hasn't got any easier. At the end of the day, it's the sales that determine the success of a product, an enable you to progress - if you build it, they will not come. Having said that, many things are possible, and I'm happy to talk to you about possible pitfalls, and approaches that may work if you'd like this. Fingers crossed for you , mate and let's see what evolves!

So it SOUNDS like you want to be involved in the tuning part. There is more than one option, if you think about it.

Just to throw it out there, I am a fan of open dynamic neutral models. Impressive deep bass extension is just the icing on the cake. If you ever get involved with the industry, try to help making those.
