This is the perceived response of the Drop Panda measured with my own ears. The peak at 6khz looks a bit excessive, but actually others get quite similar results: https://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?attachments/drop-thx-panda-frequency-response-passive-vs-active-png.19468/

I only measured over Bluetooth, I didn't try running the headphone in passive mode, but obviously the sound doesn't change much. Allegedly the headphone is equipped with a DSP which is not active though, I just contacted Drop if there was a way to apply some kind of user tuning, as this was already in discussion from what I know:

I just got the answer from Drop that Sonarworks is preparing an EQ app for the Panda, although I have no details if user-EQ will be possible or if Sonarworks will only add their own tuning which shouldn’t be that bad though.

With some userEQ the headphne would at least become usable as for me the sound is just unacceptable in its current state, although many reviewers seem to be quite positive about this headphone: https://www.soundstagesolo.com/index.php/equipment/headphones/227-drop-thx-panda-bluetooth-headphones

It's design by committee which rarely works. Take THX amplifier chips, good... , take planar drivers, good..., result ... not great.

I Iike the result of the drop panda and sometimes I use the android app wavelet. It may be on ios to. Crinacle and oratory a.o. deliver harmancurve presets and costum user EQ settings for a lot of headphones.
