Before starting shooting this video I noticed that my second pair of in-ear microphones had died. But as I had already prepared everything and need to return the headphone soon I wanted to finish this video by all means and took my first pair of microphones instead which had already caused problems before like shown here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/45057736

Therefore please apologize if my sound samples this time may be not 100% representative and I am not sure how long this pair of microphones will still last. Because of this I need to stop with headphone reviews for a while until I get some replacements. I am also expecting a new custom built in-ear microphone from Cascadia Audio which will allow live monitoring, and shoud help me to judge the sound of the recorded headphone much better but I will need to work on this setup after they arrive which will again take some time.

Thefore I want to use the next time to finally concentrate on setting up my couplers, in order to be able to provide decent data for IEMs as well (which means valid sound samples and measurements).

Hi Oluv, Sound quality wise, do you still prefer the anker q30 over the airpods?

hahaha...boses remind me of some old headphones eighties designed like, that i had bought 3 pairs of them for not more than 6-7 euros!!! i should keep only the ankers and i would start from them comparing others. also i finally agree it's a pretty tough decision to return maxes, but anyways!!!

i think airpods are better, but especially in europe are overpriced, even with their wireless 'goodies', although their technology and design is probably the best in the market today!!!

Haha Oluv, that metal track was not great :) The Bose QC35 II in my experience do sound better than this sham 700, but still nothing to write home about, just more neutral but also lifeless. Looking forward to some IEM reviews! Since you like the Airpods Max, any plans to maybe give Airpods Pro a shot? Cheers!

It seems Soundcore Oluv (Aka Soundcore Life Q30 with Oluv's EQ) are gonna be my next headphones :) What a steal! Pay a couple of Euros for Oluv's Patreon and save hundreds on costly crap. I don't mind buying somewhat expensive Airpods if one can afford them, as they seem to sound quite well. But for me Q30s have one big advantage: EQ settings which can be tweaked to one's liking, saved to headphones and used with all sources. Thank you Oluv for all your great videos.

You returning the Airpods already, is a bit pitty. I was about to suggest you buying this 3.5” jack to Lightning cable. From what I’ve heard rumors, it brings the sound quality even higher when listened from analog source. I was curious to hear the difference in person (through your ears then) 😉

I doubt and I have seen some tests which confirmed, that there was no big difference. Unless the source is really analog, there's no point doing it, since there are additional D/A and A/D conversions applied. It may sound different, not necessarily better.

Wow..I even considered to buy them (Bose 700), a few years ago.. now, after hearing this, I´m glad I didn´t. Sounds cheap!!

Oluv can you please pair the Panda with your laptop and use apple music. I would like you to try to improve the sound with the built in equalizer and give us your findings. I love the way you did that for the Xm4, q30, and He4xx. I'm tremendously enjoying these headphones because of that. I thank you. I have a pair of pandas on the way but I trust your ear (you never let me down).

I had another listen yesterday and I simply cannot quite like the sound. If there was at least some way built in to tweak the sound but it needs some external Eq and I think that it’s simply not worth it.

Hi Oluv! So i just bought the Wf-1000xm4 earbuds. I find the sound really good so far and I've seen in one of your videos that you liked it to. I was wondering if you applied and eq tuning in the sony headphone app to make it sound even better?
