Although I owned 2 units before, I never did any review of the VIFA Reykjavik yet. But I wanted to listen again to it especially compared directly against the new B&O Besound A1 2nd gen.

You can compare the early Reykjavik units from 2017 to the later units from 2018 within my database, as I am referring to these different firmwares in my video too: http://switcher.oluvsgadgets.net/?vidone=0M6UaKu8UUY&vidtwo=As34LfoJxRQ

there's a slight noticeable difference with some tracks but with the kick limiting form B&O the reykyavik at lower notes was also on pair making them even less apart with they edge, the only thing the A1 2nd gen rlly won agianst reykyavik was sparkle, but i wans't paying full attention on that xp

Thanks again for an extremely relaxing experience. I like it a lot. For me both speakers are not really worth their price but it’s still a pity that there won’t be new stuff anymore from Vifa. I believe that you still know these, I like the album „Kamakiriad“ from Donald Fagen (especially Trans-Island Skyway and Snowbound) and the track „Soul with a capital S“ from Tower of Power (the Live-Version) for testing the performance of the clearance in highs of a speaker. The Album „Friends“ from Larry Carlton is a great one allover, extremely cool is the groovy version of „Tequila“ with Al Jarreau doing his unique voice-stuff. If you don’t know these I highly recommend that, for I’m sure you will like it. Greets and alway have a nice time too.

Hi,Oluv, Thank you for the Video, I just ordered 2 of Vifa Reykjavik after seeing your Sale information. And keep finding the comparison between these two. Finally find it here!Unfortunately I cant find many reviews for Vifa. Bit after seeing this, I love it !! How do you think this Vifa Reykjavik compare to other popular speakers like Anker ,Denon, Tribit , minirig etc...)?

The Reykjavik does nothing wrong, but nothing really right either. It sounds best at its sweet spot, it could take more bass at lower levels, while at higher levels it starts to distort a bit too much for taste. But it is a very natural and honest sounding speaker. For that money really not bad. The Minirig 3 sounds better at low levels but doesn't have that treble quality also because it's just a single mono full-range driver.

Danke!

Hi Oluv and other patrons! I know you’re focused on the sound but I was wondering if you know what’s the Bluetooth specs here? Is it 5.0? And does it support AAC codec for iOS devices?

So how is the Reykjavik for 59.90? Worth it?
