The full release of The Monster Within comes out tomorrow. Way back in 2018 I first put a little deck building minigame in Calibration Error because I thought I had a cool idea for a mechanic where being transformed into a slut would change the cards you could buy.

And Calibration Error happened because I thought Twine MTF games were pretty hot. Stuff like S.L.U.T. Academy, and the Masculine Mystique. I decided to mod some Twine games for kicks, I was already a proficient programmer (although some people on my Discord disagree with that) and Twine was very easy to decompile, it was a breeze to change them to add images and new content and such. (Which is how The Spooktacular Hospital Resurrection happened, I modded that game because it was dead and then eventually just released the mod.)

So here it is, a kind of successful commercial video game that came to be because of horniness. The horniness of me to play the games that inspired it, the horniness of my audience to play it, the horniness of my patrons to pay me to make it, what a powerful force.

Now four years later here we are. Calibration Error finished ages ago, but that card minigame is going strong. There's going to be yet another update tomorrow with two new card packs. What's the future of TF Card Battle and The Monster Within? I would be lying if I didn't say I was sick of them. I've probably played the two of them combined for thousands and thousands of hours. I've coded every mechanic and card twice over, bug fixed them twice over too. I don't feel like I have another big update in me, but who knows, never say never and all that.

I've been developing games for a long time, but until I started Apollo Seven Games they were never MY games. But now they are, now I can do whatever I want whether there's sex in the game or not. My designs, my characters, my money paying artists to make assets, and I even almost make money off it. It's pretty incredible and it's all thanks to the people who support me whether here or on Steam.

Anyway, enough of my feelings. Here's another preview for the Futa Oasis update that will be available to $5 patrons next week. Also remember that $10 patrons get to play At the Mountains of Friendship as early as a few days from now! It's a lot of fun. $1 patrons get to read these words so, uh, I hope they're good ones.

That's all for this week. As always, thank you for your continued support!
