March Development Report! (Patreon)

Since last month's Development Report was a loooong one... ^^" I'll try to be straight to the point with this one to save everyone the trouble!

[~Expectations for March!~]

We should have a good bit of surprises this month as I plan on announcing our second big announcement for the project later this month. If you missed out on the first big announcement during February, you can check that out below! ($5+ supporters to view)

Later in April/May, we'll share that first announcement publicly, but for now we're trying to keep some exclusiveness to supporter related posts.

We're still moving along with development for new content and plan on sharing some in-depth previews of the content itself, without major spoilers. Just enough previews of the actual content in action to show how it's looking and give a glimpse at that stuff. You can expect to see these posts spread throughout the month and we'll possibly have a date figured out in the next week or two. (Nothing confirmed yet on the date for episode 5.)

MarxeDP and AjoseMp have been working since December on some unannounced stuff for us. We can't share details regarding that until our big announcement later this month, but we hope it'll be exciting! ^^

We did receive a $200-275 support tier in February, meaning we'll have a new requested cg scene added to Miki's Dream! :O It'll be seen during the toilet chamber areas in that content, but we should have some previews of that this month!

(Finished cg art for this is still to be determined which release/version of the game it'll be added with. Probably v0.20 or v0.21 at the latest.)

We're also re-working our disclaimer for the start of the game. This will only be seen upon your first time playing MA. Once you have a save/load point, you won't be pestered to watch/read through it again. We want this disclaimer to be included with v0.20's release, because it feels important with recent stuff I've been seeing here and there popping up.

Think of it as fun little rewarding disclaimer, but brief and informative for those who might be discovering MA for the first time. It'll give a expectation of what the game has to offer before even beginning and crawling through quite a bit of dialogue/text to get a impression from Episode 1's content. ^^"

We'd like to share a preview of how this disclaimer looks in action later this month as well! For now, think of it as being more fitting to MA in terms of being fun and hopefully not boring by any means! :P

(Older fans might recall our early disclaimer before Ren'py, featuring Miki's sprite warning you about the game. Think of it like that, but much better and less boring! ^^ )

Lisa's been going hard! If you've been following along during last month, you'll see we had Garnet additions and yet another KS support oc sprite finished! ^^

There's some other stuff that she's been working on during February. We'll be sharing a good chuck of that later this month, but we'll have a preview of a new support character that's to be seen in Miki's route later on. Don't worry! I won't mention anything beyond that for spoilers. :P

The post related to that sprite preview will have the typical spoiler warning image shown first and be up to you to view the new support character. I'll avoid trying to mention anything too major with spoilers in regards to that, within the post too.

This month, we'll be tackling Tomo (oc) and we actually have one more oc after that for April. Then it'll wrap up the oc's for the game, unless we find that we have a little extra room to include a few more background oc's... <.< But for now, we'll firstly focus on what characters we have for the game's story and existing oc's first!

ComposerJF managed to finish up our extra slice of life track last month! Very happy with how that turned out!

This month, we're focusing on swapping back to tackling character themes. Erika's theme is in the works and I've personally heard a sample of possible melodies for it. I'm excited to hear how it'll sound when finished! ^^ We should expect the finished preview to possibly be late in March.
