I'm happy to announce that our first track of 2021 is done and will be added to the game very soon! ^^ (Have to see if we're going to do it with v0.19 or hold off until our quality of life update in June.)

Please do check out our composer's youtube channel through this video or you can find their credits & links below as well! Very happy with how this turned out and it'll be neat to hear it in game.

Background information for the track: Roaming the Halls will be heard during moments before or after class periods while, well... Roaming the halls. :P Of course there will be other fitting tracks that fill these moments too, so there isn't the same track heard for hours on end either. The goal was to go for a more laid back, piano with some accent instruments that were light to follow the melody and introduce some light electronic beats that weren't too distracting.

Would there be sound effects when they start to mess or pee or fart? I’m just curious tho. Good job on the bgm! It makes the VN experience 10x better.

MessyAcademy

Sound effects are still on our radar to add into the game. It'd probably end up covering much more than just those sound effects too. :P Thanks! Hoping everyone will enjoy the new tracks coming along.

have you been in contact with derek and brandon fiechter? they have over a thousand songs on their youtube channel, im not sure if they copyright it though but i have seen reuploads of their videos before from other channels

MessyAcademy

I haven't been in contact with the fiechter brothers, but I think you or someone might've suggested them before to me. I briefly checked out their stuff and will probably have to do a little searching around, but their stuff sounds pretty good! I'll have to look through their works a bit more and see what their stance on music use is, could be that there's some fitting tracks that'd work well in MA possibly. :P
