Before we begin! If you haven't seen the first news post for this month, you'll find it >>Here<<

So we're quite a bit delayed with Miki's Dream being released, as the original plan was to have Version 0.18 of the game out by Feb 5th. <.< I know it's been taking quite a while, but this is one of our first game updates that'll also feel the most complete.

What I mean by that is that it'll feel like the extra time really went into the content, along with not having missing assets. So when you play through it the first time on release, it'll offer the ideal experience to you! (Our previous game updates normally had missing art at times)

So once again, I'm very thankful for everyone being extremely patient with us as we make sure this update to the game can hopefully blow expectations out of the water! Miki's Dream is going through the testing phase now and will be released later today or tomorrow on the 17th. The rough word count for the content is around 30k+ which is almost nearly double the size of how long episodes 1-3 are!

Not to mention the amount of choices and interaction seen throughout, friendly reminder for those who don't wish for a extremely hard time! Save often while going through Miki's Dream when it releases! :P

~Moving on~

Clearly with the delay of Miki's Dream (Version 0.18) this pushes back Version 0.19 (Episode 4) a bit. I'm thinking roughly we should be able to have Version 0.19 expected to release sometime around the very end of March if not sooner. I'll of course try to keep everyone informed along the way for that once we move along.

With Version 0.18 releasing very very soon, we'll be seeing a voting poll to go along with it! I don't want to mention the details of what you can vote on with it yet, but just know that you should avoid the voting poll until you've had the chance to fully play through Miki's Dream. (A spoiler warning will be mentioned in the title of the voting poll)

We'd also really love to hear your thoughts and feedback with how Miki's Dream turned out as its quite different than what we've done before and its possible that your feedback, comments and thoughts about the content will help aid us in seeing content similar to it in the future. We want to hear it all! The good, bad and the ugly. Please don't think we'll take your comments the wrong way! We expect both good and not so good mentions, it's what helps us improve! ^^

~In other news~

We're also thinking ahead for our next fun little wallpaper to have done with the next holiday that feels fitting being Easter. Clearly we have a little bit of time until then :P but sometime in March we can expect a few voting polls for that. (Since Nova & Juliet now had their chance, those two will be excluded from holiday wallpaper voting until everyone has had a fair chance.)

We have plenty in mind for the next couple of updates to the game leading up to Summer starting, with plans to overhaul the gui visuals and functions to better suit Ren'py sometime within Summer. The month of May will bring with it a quality of life update to MA, where we focus on fixing up minor issues with episodes 1-5, including additional choices/interaction and adding the background oc characters to be seen in fitting moments during those episodes!

Speaking of background oc characters! We currently have 2 remaining to get through, with one in the works right now for this month and our sprite artist Lisa is pretty busy right now with school. So its possible we won't see the final background oc character done until next month possibly. (Maybe both will finish midway through March, as we're waiting to hear back from one of the requests. If we don't hear back soon, we'll move onto the other person's oc and go back later.)

Then we'll move on with ks oc characters to try having those done by the end of this year with a few little surprises between those for sprite art. :P Excited to share those details as we get closer.

I'll leave this news post at that. I mainly wanted to give some updates on how things are going and that we'll for sure with 95% expectation in mind. We'll see Miki's Dream released later today or tomorrow. (16th-17th in the US just for our supporters to know across the globe. :P )
