Content

With February right around the corner, sparking a new month of progress for us. We'd like to let everyone know that we're thankful once again for everyone being patient since we've returned back from our holiday break and getting new content released. ^^

Within the first week of February we'll have our next game content released, which is Miki's Dream. (Side Story) Which will be accessible from the main title screen, we've went over details about how the content plays out already. But it's our most interactive content we've added to MA, it plays out a bit differently than how our normal episodes do.

There's a set path from point A to B, but there's quite a lot of locations and things to mess with during the content. The way that battles work is something that should be very fun, even if you fail a battle, it shouldn't upset anyone by any means.

Anyways, just hold on a tiny bit longer and we'll be back to our normal month to month game releases like we were doing in 2020. :P

This news post is a bit more short and to the point, since there's not too much to go over since our previous news post mentions.

We're currently going through the writing of Miki's Dream and refining it up, making sure the quality of it not only fully feels like you're taking the role of Miki throughout it, but also ensuring the journey along the way through the dream feels unique and fun from start to end.

We're also waiting for the bg art to be seen in the content to be finished and hope to have a early sketch to show. Luckily when art like cg or bg pieces are finished, they don't take long to add into the game engine.

Aside from those two things, the content is ready and if there's extra time. We might end up seeing Ms. Eskin's character sprite added with this game release version. (She would be in ep 3 for her scene) If not, we'll mention it in the changelogs post in February before the content is released.

We're very excited to see how everyone will enjoy Miki's Dream once it's ready and hearing feedback on how it felt. No need to worry for those who might not like Miki as much as others do, as February will be spent on moving forward with getting Episode 4 done for early March as a release and moving on with the main game episodes. ^^

I can't say too much about Episode 4, but it's going to be one heck of a episode for characters seen from ep 1-3 and characters to be seen showing up. :P

We hope to see many of you rejoin us in February!
From all of us on the Messy Studios team, thank you! ^^
