Behind the scenes writing: Episode 3 (2/4) (Patreon)

Episode 3: Awakening.

Moving on from where we left off, Brandon and his sister were on the way to the student council room to drop some papers off for Erika's club.

She's acting a little awkward and while she's busy delivering her papers, Brandon passes the time looking around the room and noticing some of the expensive stuff and more boring school related decor, items, etc.

It isn't a long wait before Erika is ready and the two begin to head out, excited to go eat. Just as the door slides open and Brandon thinks with how sudden it was, being the reason for his sister to let out a gasp and take a few steps back.

Until she muttered under her breath "Why'd it have to be her..." as they both stare on at a blue haired girl who seemed beautiful, nearly perfect even. He noticed that with her arm band, she must've been part of the student council.

But it wasn't clearing up why his sister was fearful of this girl, as they stepped into the room and began speaking with them, wondering what's going on.

After Erika mentions that she came to drop some papers off for her club, it was if this girl didn't care too much about that and instead focused her sights more on Brandon. While mentioning how she was hoping to get the time to meet the new boys who transferred back on the day they came to the academy, but she's been extremely busy lately.

We're soon introduced to her as being Heather, the student council president or also referred to by the students as "Queen Heather".

After some back and forth taking place, thing take a sharp turn for the worse as Erika tries sticking up for her brother. Before he knows it, he's on the ground looking up at the sight of his sister receiving a diaper wedgie from Heather.

He tries to get her to stop and it isn't until he mentions that he'll do anything if she just stops, when they come to an agreement that he'd be her servant. With this, Heather lets up on bullying Erika and the two take off down the hallway to recover from what just happened.

It ends with the two heading off to go eat, trying to put what happened behind them to enjoy what little time they have before classes begin... 

~Writer notes~

-It's really hard to label everything as sections anymore with how scenes play out in episodes <.< But roughly this area I believe was about 2000-2500 word count. I'd pair this up with the next upcoming scene which is in the classroom.

-I'd say fans of Heather should enjoy this, I tried to keep her early impression seen as this stuck up bully still and playing it off in a bit more of a serious light. Needless to say it's not the last time we'll see her, as she has a servant who she wants for her bidding.

-When writing this scene, I knew I wanted to change it up a bit so that it took place within the student council room and play off of that. Introduce her within her own realm area of play and make more sense as to how she'd be able to get away with bullying without being out in the open like in the hallways.

-Overall this has been a pretty tough episode to write out in comparison to ep 1 or 2. Since there's a bit stuff where it seems a bit more over the place maybe? Perhaps it won't feel quite like that though once seen in the engine. Granted ep 1 sort of had quite a bit going on from one scene to the next, but it was introducing players into the setting and helping guide everyone into the life of the academy and ease your way into things.
