In case you haven't kept up with the previous news posts, check out the guide post here to find #1 & #2 posts.

This post will be a bit lighter than normal, just because I don't want to really repeat too much or go too much into detail that's not changed since our last news post.

Let's get right into it, last news post of June! ^^

(1) Update 0.12 & what's in the works currently.

Since June 13th, we've done quite a bit of progress and below is what we have done as of right now and what we still expect to have included in update 0.12.

-Days 18 & 19 added (Writing is finished. Engine work for these still in progress.)
-4 New bg's added (2/4 are done, 3rd one is nearly done. Hallway #2, track field and locker room. With Nurse's office as the 4th bg.)
-Heather's new sprite added (done and in progress of being added into existing/new sections)
-Main theme song added (done, 3 minutes long and will be featured in day 17 and title screen)
-1 new CG scene added (still in progress, all 6 girls featured)
-Sprite visuals fixed (compression of sprite visuals in update 0.11 have some issues, these are being fixed and nearly done.)
-Placeholder CG scenes (completely removed and adjusted with sprites instead.)

What was planned and won't make it for update 0.12?

-Additional choices for classroom sections (being called on to answer questions, taking a test, homework, study, etc.) [this is now going to be planned for July and higher on the priority list for July.]

-Accident choices added. (these would be added through days 1-19 in fitting spots, later to become a functioning mini game. But for now it will simply be a choice to let accident happen or not for Brandon. This would affect a little bit of dialogue for the scene based on what's going on, seeing reactions or how it affects a given scene.) [this is now going to be planned for July and higher on the priority list for July.]

Sadly the two above were lower priority for June, but I'd rather not rush with what little time I have before the 29th to forcefully add any of the above in and have it coming off as half assed feeling, etc. <.< I hope those looking forward to these can understand they will have much love put into them for July to make up for the delay.

(2) Kickstarter news?

There isn't too much that's changed since our last news post and if you haven't seen it yet. The guide post that's pinned on our front page has some details in it for links to see more details on pledge tiers and rewards, general news, etc.

Launch date is expected for July 31st firmly. We will have it running for a little around 30 days, so for all of August. In the sad event if we don't happen to reach our funding goal, we will look into doing a relaunch with some adjustments to help. Of course that isn't what we want, but just in the event things don't go as planned we have a backup plan.

I will be sharing higher quality pictures of the character standee's I have in my possession that's offered as a reward very soon. The poster reward will not have a physical picture to show off a preview of it, but we're going with a high quality cloth scroll style poster and the art will be of the upcoming CG scene featuring the 6 main girls. (we will preview the cg scene and make a mention of it being used for the poster as well)

The only thing physical rewards that won't be previewed is the body pillow sheets, we will give a rough idea what to expect for quality being high standard for the product. The art will feature how the characters are drawn and seen as by our CG artist, one side will show a character fully dressed in a erotic pose and the other side will show them half dressed/naked in the pose.

(3) What can we expect in the near future?

We still have a nice little list of features and things we'd like to tackle each month on top of our normal content offered.

There's a few outfits missing in the game currently for a couple scenes, which isn't forgotten. We'll have those added soon enough.

I've mentioned some visual screens for when new sections begin and sections end, this will be coming by early fall roughly.

We're still gathering suggestions for content or what to see added to the game, one thing we would like to remind everyone is that not all suggestions will work or simply be added soon. We will of course ensure what is suggested feels right for the game and if it doesn't try making things more complex than it's needed or lose track of our general direction for the game.

~Conclusion~

With that all said, this is a shorter news post. But we're still hard at work and one goal to mention is that if everything goes right for July. We'll meet another art goal by requesting the final 4 bg's needed in July. (aside from some minor adjustments for weather, etc)

This would mean that our sprite artist and bg artist can take things a bit more relaxed, as they're related work isn't needed as much anymore.

With that though, assuming we can keep our monthly funding goal around $700+ we'll be having more music added to the game. The plans for that is 14 uniquely made tracks in total, now if anyone knows a bit about custom music done. It isn't quite as cheap as many might think and of course like art, it varies between composer to composer.

We're looking at roughly $1400 to cover the costs for the whole soundtrack and that means having the 100% rights to the music tracks as well, so that we can distribute it out physically or digitally even without having to worry about paying monthly % cuts to the composer.

We hope that if things continue to grow into the 2nd half of 2020, we'll hopefully hit the goal to bring in a programmer full time to take over for myself. This means a possibly of allowing me to write more and offer more new days of content once again while balancing work outside the project. One thing to mention is right away, we'll first have the programmer come up with making a mini game for the accident parts. (we have to see what people feel is more fun, if by winning the mini game should stop the accident or the other way around.)

Anyways, the end of June is fast approaching and before we know it. Update 0.12 will be released on the 29th! Expect to see patch notes a day or two before the 29th.
