Anyways, the depression that she's situated in right now is a collapsed lava lake (or a pond at the very least). When I was looking for references years ago that above photo really stuck out; something about that neat edge really does it for me. Bex would probably be attracted to a clean terrace in the same way that I would, and is also thematically associated with the magenta/ volcanics, so I thought this old lake would be a nice setting for us to catch up with what she's been up to all this time.
