MI414- process animation (Patreon)

The most important phase of the process is probably the very last step, where you add stupid little hilights and adjust the darkness or lightness of the edges of panels and add some color variation that can't really be noticed during a casual read... I know of a few comics that color in a similar way to me, with much cleaner results, but the lack of variation gives it a sterility I don't really enjoy. I'd rather have a messier page that reminds me of real life me than a precise page that looks like it was airbrushed by a machine.

(I think this normally is the reason people prefer traditional art as well- that injection of imperfection and interest- but working digitally, I get to inject that simply by being an imperfect artist, haha)
