5 years of Pony Town!! (Update v0.87.0 - with new supporter rewards!) (Patreon)

It's our 5 year anniversary!

June 28th 2016 is when Pony Town first became known to the public and visited by people outside of a small group of friends. It was only a very early prototype back then - a small hobby project created for fun that had only been in development for a few months.

By now, the team and the community have grown immensely - especially through your help! We opened Patreon in 2018. It made the big difference for us to transform from a hobby project to a full-time one. Fast forward a few years, and we now have several full-time paid members, and are still growing, making progress towards becoming a fully professional game studio!

This update includes new supporter rewards for Tier 3 supporters!

• Full 4k screen resolution support
• Increased public message length limit by 15% 

Full 4k support allows you to zoom out all the way on high resolution screens, up to 4k. Zooming out was already possible before, but for server performance reasons, the amount of rendered game regions was limited. This resulted in a black border on the side of the screen, which is now fixed with this!
