00:00:00 - Intro

00:00:41 - Which aircraft put more terror into both Artic and Atlantic convoys? Heinkel He-111s or Ju-87 Stukas?

00:01:38 - Are twin mounts generaly heavier than two single mounts of the same gun?

00:05:05 - What was the average monthly pay of a sailor on Ranger in WW2?

00:07:40 - Did Ranger have to ensure her stacks were rotated before conducting flight ops? Did this impact her ability to respond to situations? Or could CAP fighters be spotted and launched well enough regardless of the stack position?

00:09:22 - Ranger had a moveable funnel system; but did any other navies experiment with this funnel system? If so which navies, what ships and what was the evaluation of this system by said navies?

00:11:21 - Why was British gunnery so bad during World War 1?

00:15:35 - How loud, on average, were the main guns of the Seydlitz and how much would it have been dampened by the armored steel of the turret? What kind of hearing protection would they have to use?

00:18:12 - If Seydlitz is the German version of Warspite and Enterprise, i.e. ships to stubborn to die, who are the Japanese and Italian versions of Warspite and Enterprise?

00:21:33 - Have you ever listened to The Dreadnoughts? They've recorded many chanties and other naval themed content as well.

00:23:04 - When Salem's auto 8" only need humans once that isn't necessarily one human per gun, three humans actually moving projectiles per turret is it?

00:24:33 - I often hear the Bismarck as referred to as the most powerful battleship in the world, what was it that put it ahead of the Queen Elizabeths, Colorados, Nagatos, Nelsons, and Richelieu classes?

00:30:05 - You mentioned previously that naval gun turrets had to be assembled at the ship. How were the 15 inch guns and turrets for HMS Vanguard stored, then? Were they completely disassembled down to the component machinery and armor plates?

00:32:55 - Do you think that arming the Brooklyn's with 15 guns was a mistake, given that they were designed as such to match the Mogami's which broke treaty limits, while the US tried to keep to them.  Would it have been better if the USN had instead made them more into what would eventually be the Clevelands?

00:35:53 - I recently read an article that stated that Bismarck's 3-Rudder layout was not a weakness, and did not overly effect the outcome of Operation Rhein, as most contemporary battleships also struggled to steer with just screws. Could any of the other modern fast battleships have overcome a stuck-hard-over rudder with differential propulsion?

00:43:46 - Accuracy or not of the movie 'Sahara'?

00:48:42 - The nature and service record of sea-service Royal Marines in the 1st and 2nd World War?

00:50:20 - What were the main features of the small boats war in the waters around the UK in WW2?

00:57:09 - Battle class and Sumner class main armament?

00:59:02 - Australia Trip

Audio distortion Drach, -listened to a section a few times and it's occurring at the same times. Its liveable with -but a- bit distracting. Otherwise a good selection of questions and answers.

Drachinifel

What time stamps? It may be a rogue bit of nvidia audio software I recently found and deleted.

36.04, 36.10, 36.14 etc. could b e software, if this was a purely analogue chain I'd suggest an intermittent connection Drach. Your Script is still audible and intelligible but the distortion is a slight distraction mate.

Purely as a suggestion and if you're able and it's practical, might be worth making a safety copy of the audio on a separate device that gets it's audio from as close to the Mic in the chain as possible, if you record in one continuous take then it should be fairly simple to swap the Master with the Safety if problems occur. Think you have my email after I sent the Sextant some time ago? Peter.

Will check the Orlando Class production next.

Tiny bit Bass heavy, backup from the Mic a few inches or take a little Low Frequency out with software?
