The Black Rope Dragon Twister is a much stronger and more effective version of "Tatsu Maki", where Zoro performs the same action. He spins to create a dragon-like tornado that both slashes and blows away the targets, but the attack keeps going like an actual whirlwind and cuts up anyone who gets caught in it. While the old version only gave the victims small cuts

Dang, seeing these first fights after the timeskip are rough. This was when the series was handed over to a new animation director, so the new team was still adjusting. The ending of the arc is still alright, and the animation gets better overall as time goes on

I feel the animation in general could have been better for this part of the arc. Especially since we just got back together from the timeskip. Would have been a nice breath of fresh air for the series

You know an arc is about to end when you get like 7mins of the recap and intro then 12-15 minutes of the actual anime 🤦🏾‍♀️

Enjoying your reactions guys! I myself am currently in the 840s. Can’t wait for you guys to get there! 900+ episodes is a lot so it’s almost expected to have slow parts with flashbacks etc just because of the nature of the beast. But it still is a fun/amazing story to binge watch!
