10/3 weekly update:

Heya floofs! <3 Short update from me today! Last week I knocked out over a dozen cards on our Codecks board, and this week I'll be crunching to try and finish the rest. Most of the remaining work is in Act 3 which is some of our newest (and cleanest) code. It's been smooth sailing & easy bugfixes so far!

When I've got all my cards done, Carrot and I are planning some collaborative playtesting to make sure things are looking spiffy throughout the game.

My end I've been pushing forward on more assets and writing! There are quite a few mice in the future of TFOL, SO, had to make the assets for them :> They aren't quite done yet, but figured I'd share where they're at.

I also got around to making the firefly assets! I tried this in pure pixel form at first, then I tried making it via a particle emitter in Unity (huge pain in the ass). Eventually, I went back to GOOD OLE FLASH BABY! Totally got what I wanted :>

Other than this and some writing, I've been on the STRUGGLE BUS for my wrist and my eyes. Gettin' two timed over here by my cringe body Dx

My hotkey hand is hotkeying TOO MUCH. it's fuckin' the outside of my wrist pretty hard. I'm trying to do the normal upper body exercise and proper rest, but it's slow going. 

THEN MEANWHILE, my eyes have been getting hella dry again. They've been kinda annoying over the past month and a half, but they've been PARTICULARLY annoying yesterday and today.

Just gotta rest my shit I guess, so more Redwall audio books for me xD! 

PROLLY gonna make a doctor appointment for my wrist though. I'm PRETTY SURE I gotta basically ditch my pinky for hotkeys :| (prolly like, 75% of the hotkeys I use) I'm considering picking up some alternative tools for certain parts of the creative process. Like setting up hotkeys to a PS5 controller for drawing. I've got a few friends doing that, I just know i use a >fuck ton< of hotkeys.

I could also just learn to NOT use hotkeys and just use the actual tools and buttons on the screen???? Ew.

So yeah, figuring it out xD.

I do have more 3D cookin' for this month. Looks like we got more Perdita shenanigans, so keep an eye out!
