This Week in the Forest! #135 (Patreon)

Hey folks! Sorry for the missed update last week! Been kinda busy!

But let's get started!

It's just me this update, Vixel's been out of town on family business. But last update from him, he was ALLLMOST done with Act 2's troubleshooting for the V2 project! Super exciting since there's not a whole lot of Act 3 yet lol. ALLLLLMOST THEEEEERE!

On my end, I've been working more on Act 3 animations. Act 3 has 4 main animations planned, the first being the Melody one, the 2nd being the Mabel one which you guys haven't seen yet.

Then there's the wolf one I showed last update, and NOOOOW THIS ONE, without spoiling much, features mice! I can't wait till we start getting some of these scenes in the game, because it feels weird to show process of scenes that aren't gonna be in the game soon xD! But hey why not, here's a lil piece of what I was working on.

Last week I also mentioned that I've been working with someone for our capstone song, AND IT'S LIKE, BASICALLY DONE! So much of it is exactly where I'd like it, I'm so stoked. I'll give it a few more weeks to stew and change a random stray note here and there, but it's sounds heckin' GUCCI. I might do a preview teaser for it sometime. I don't wanna spoil stuff, but like, BRuH, I wanna share haha.

Anywho, aside from that, I got to set dressing the Perdita animation for this month. It's coming along pretty well! Still might be a thing or two I'll tweak before I release it, but it's looking pretty spicy.

Lastly, I've been looking into another web hosting service. We've been wanting a place to host fanart/adult content for a while, and Squarespace isn't cool with adult content. So we've been looking at Hostinger. It'll take a while to set it up, but I think it'd be worth it to have a fanart section :>!
