Yo folks!

Here's what we've been up to this (and last) week!

Starting with a word from Vixel!

7/9 weekly update:

Happy new week! <3 Last week I worked on cleaning up the design changes for Adventures! Lots of code improvements I'll highlight in a future update. Still need to tidy up affected code, so I'll do that this week!

"Adventures" include side quests like Blessing of the Bells or Booty Lineup, which can be played and replayed anytime. Many of our bug reports come from the game getting confused about different rules for ongoing quests. (If a quest requires a certain conversation to play next, or if multiple quests each require a critter to spawn in different places, etc.) Adventures manage those conflicts and also give players more control when to start side quests, instead of side quests starting automatically just by walking into a room or playing a Gossip. The recent code changes also address general spontaneous dialogues that can come up at awkward times, like a critter giving a gift or chatting about sidestory shenanigans when they should really be focused on a more urgent quest.

On my end, I've been up to a few things! But some I'm not gonna share yet. It's some look/concept dev for a mini-game thing we wanna do with the TFOL. But it will be a while before it can be implemented, but I made strides on the concept recently. Super excited for the future of it :>

Other than that, I've been getting back to some 3D recently! I've kinda put that stuff on the back burner since Patreon's semi recent bans were kinda spooky and ambiguous. But I figured some more vanilla characters would be OK! So I picked up  Sashacakies Judy Hopps model! Here's a frame of the recent thing that was voted on :>

In addition, I've been working on that swamp asset. I got it finished now, so here's a gif!

Oh, and here's the Adventure Zone asset I was talking about last time. Still kinda WIP, but I think we'll fancy it up a bit with some particles and effects in Unity.

Aaaaand I've been finishing up some touches on the upcoming animation. I had to re-assemble the animation from Clipstudio to Aseprite, and set up all the looping and what not. Then I started roughing out the cum and that's where it's at. It has some fun stuff going on :>

the new stage looks incredible
