Okay, the squeaky-toy sound effect when Butterfree rams the helicopter is THE MOST ADORABLE THING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I was laughing for a solid minute and had to rewatch it at least three times.

You keep mentioning Yuji Asada. You know who he is pared with in all of these episodes? Akihiro Tamagawa and Masaaki Iwane, two animators that Pokemon anime fans should know very well. And I mean in good way.

I think this was an episode I missed on initial viewing but I caught later upon a rebroadcast so it didn't have quite the impact on me as some of the others did. Can definitely see the power though. P.S. Love the shoutout / temp image! XD Made my night after a super long night! Will get in touch about the custom card 😊

I remember being sad at this, but I mainly remember Misty's epic burn when Brock says he could write a book about heartache and she says, "I guess that would be your autobiography?" Burn heal over here, please.
