📝 VIKING VOTE : Choose Your Monsters! (Patreon)
Content
Hello Everyone!!
I have SEVEN monsters for you to pick from! You can vote for multiple. Picture references below, poll at the very bottom.
First, here are the results from the Choose Your Gods & Goddesses poll!
The interest in Thor and Odin was surprisingly low! I'm very glad I check in with yall first. FREYA and HEL will be part of the project. I may add FRIGG and LOKI!
And here is Freya 💕 I'm starting on Hel tomorrow, I'll post updates in our Discord
🔥 CHOOSE YOUR MONSTERS 🔥
I tried to focus on well known Norse monsters that we don't see much of! I also wanted to draw attention to a wonderful artist, Johan Egerkrans. Viewing their work has made me even more excited for this project!
Vote for as many as you like!
Pictures listed below in the same order as the poll options. I also added more common wording so you can get a visual, pardon if the descriptions are a bit literal/bland! All of these are epic and worth reading about.
🐈⬛ Bygul and Trjegul : Freya's chariot cats
I would make a harnessed chariot version and unharnessed version.
☠️ Hræsvelgr : Corpse Eater Eaglefolk
A Jotun that takes the form of an eagle. My take on this would be a zombie eaglefolk. Had a hard time finding a reference, so look at this and just think more monstrous/bone/zombie.
Fafnir : dwarf king turned dragon
Have a ton of treasure to guard? Might as well turn into a dragon. I'd model this a bit more old school, but not quite as far as the reference. Fafnir would be stretched over a decorative base covered in treasure.
Jormungandr : world serpent
Jormungandr is MASSIVE. It can encircle all of Midgard and holds its tail in its mouth. Would toy with the idea of making two versions of this.
Slepinir : 8 legged horse
Figuring out how to pose/sculpt this might be the death of me lol Too cool not to include.
Ratatoskr : squirrel messenger
I've sculpted over 600 models, but never a squirrel!
Norns : trio of fate goddesses
Think of the Fates from Greek Mythology. I would design them to look hag/witch-like.
