Return & Update (Public Post) (Patreon)

Hi all,

There's been a lot of silence on my part in the last month. I'm not into excuses or the feeling of obligation to provide them. However, I at least owe an explanation. 

I mentioned in a previous Patreon-only post that I'd planned to move interstate that would take me away from this project. If all went as planned it would have been unnoticeable. Unfortunately, I did not foresee a global pandemic. And so in anticipation of closing borders, we moved the relocation date forward. 

This meant that I had to stay at a relative's house (on the lounge) with my belongings in storage until I could move into my own place a month later. So this project was delayed for longer than I'd planned, and my apologies I didn't provide this update sooner.  This was, however, still the best result for me, my living situation and my job. So I'm glad we made the decision, otherwise, I'd be enormously in debt and stuck indefinitely in another state.

I will be more active, the project of course continues, and I thank those who continue to support. To those who unsubbed due to inactivity; you have my wholehearted gratitude for the support, financial or not, and of course, I understand the desire to unsub & I hope you continue to follow the project in any case. I'll process any refunds for the month to those who message me requesting it...

Conversely, my month of absence has really opened my eyes to something I need to address. 

This isn't a money-grabbing project. I'm creating this content because I like & want to. Yes, I have a Patreon account. It's for those who want to support the work I do and to show appreciation if they choose to, which I am very thankful for. To me, it's worth more than the dollars. It provides proof that there is merit in the work I'm doing.

I neglected to consider that the use of Patreon could be interpreted as payment for a service, therefore creating entitlement and obligation. 

So let me clarify; This is a free game. 

I am a human with a life; a full-time job, a family, friends. I work on this game in my spare time and when it is appropriate to do so. My priorities are as they should be. I hope that those who pledge a donation do so out of support rather than extracting value. I hope you continue to be a fan in any case, and I'm thankful to those who show their support. 

I should be updating more often, which I will do. 

The next update is mostly complete. Admittedly I couldn't do a great deal of erotic writing or porn editing in the past month given the environment of lounge-surfing at a relative's house. However, it is currently necessary that I work from home. That gives me some opportunity to work on this project a little more. I'll make sure that we have an update this week.
