Hanaja's Body Transformations REVEALED! April 2022 Total Progress Report (Patreon)

This is the busy month IRL! Gotta find a new place to live and it's been really hard to get a hold of anyone so I am a bit worried. Naturally, with the fuss of moving to a new place there are going to be a lot of delays and slowdown. I have to box things, unbox things, change my address on so many different applications, make sure my checks are sent to the new place, etc... 

At the end of the day I think it will be worth it. The place I am looking at next weekend is cheaper and with more space so I'll have an office to work from which will help reduce my tax burden next year. All I want to do is continue working on Lustfall and Hanaja's Body, but alas, this is just another small obstacle in my way.

Lustfall

Commissions are chugging away and we have a few new faces to the collective of artist who I've commissioned in the past. It's always a great feeling for me when you have a good experience with an artist. Seeing their inspiration take hold despite the language barrier between the two people is really a neat thing. Of course, the art is always super hot too!

Progress on the Drone Facility is going well. A bit on the slow side, but that's because the time I would normally use for Lustfall dev is being used for apartment hunting. Even so, I am still happy with how it's coming along. Most of the mechanical stuff is complete so soon all that's left will be the story bit.

As you can see, there are some tricky traps in the Drone Facility now. Stepping on them will Drone one of your party members at random and it's up to the team to save them! You can see here that Gwen is no longer in the party. Never fear, if you can beat the Drone character in battle, she will return to the team! 

It might seem like a daunting task at first, but if you have good knowledge about the characters strengths/weaknesses before they became a Drone, you can exploit those same weaknesses in these battles. (For example, Syn is powerful physically but has really weak magic, so if she is Dronned, you can take her down faster with magic!)

Hanaja's Body

Big progress is being made on Hanaja's Body as we speak! (Btw, if you haven't entered the contest, there's still a week left!) I've started working on the second area, the Cyber Hive. There's so much I could talk about and show everyone since I've been making a ton of progress, but instead I want to show off a little aspect of the game that might get overlooked (but I know people also wanted), which is so dialogue variation based on TFs. It's nothing super extensive, just a touch of flavor here and there:

As you can see, there's just a little bit of extra TF flavor here and there. :)

In addition to that, there will be parts where you need a specific number of TFs of a single type to proceed. If, for example, you needed to convince the other bee warriors in the Cyber Hive to let you through without trouble, you would need to have at least 2-3 bee transformations to be convincing.

Since there are (initially) fewer areas than in Veronica's Body I am focusing on putting a lot more things to discover in each area and trying to do more than just "figure out the right TF body part to activate the gimmick." I feel like a lot of people gravitate towards Victoria's Body because there's a lot more discovery in the game and it's fun to stumble into these little one-off events and traps.

I'll have to see how much time fate allows me to work on this project but for now, I am still making great time with everything! And now, the moment you've been waiting for. All of Hanaja's transformations in the base game!

And I know what you're all thinking. The answer is yes, each one has a dick variant so your Hanaja can be packing whatever equipment you'd like her too (assuming she doesn't get transformed).

That's it for this month's teasers. As you can see, things are still going strong despite my anxiety about moving. There's a ton that I want to do with Hanaja's Body yet so I better stop yapping and get to work!

OH! And thank you all for the poll last week. It was really helpful to see and hear which games were your favorites. It even prompted some very valuable discussion that I will use to improve aspects of each game in the future! :)
